Have Not Been The Same: The CanRock Renaissance by Michael Barclay, Ian A.D. Jack and Jason Schneider will be out the week of September 25th through ECW Press. This near 800 page creation (with well over 100 photos) weaves the stories of various scenemakers and highly influential bands of the '80s and '90s from across the country including The Tragically Hip, Change of Heart, Mary Margaret O'Hara, The Rheostatics, Neil Young, Blue Rodeo and Sloan. An entire chapter is devoted to the history of our beloved Sloan and a separate chapter documents the development of the East Coast underground weaving the stories of Jale, Eric's Trip, The Super Friendz, Thrush Hermit, Rebecca West, Hardship Post, Black Pool, Jellyfishbabies and Sarah McLachlan's early beginnings.
