For those of you who have always wanted to have Sloan DJ while you enjoyed your Saturday afternoon shopping, your dreams are about to come true.
As part of a Filter Magazine DJ series, Jay Ferguson and Andrew Scott will don their headphones, and treat some lucky Urban Outfitters customers to some of their favourite tracks. It will be a great opportunity to pop by and say hello before our NYC Roseland Ballroom show on Saturday July 10th. Look forward to seeing some of you there!

You guys deserve to do something so cool at a cooler store than urban outfitters!
Nicki - July 16, 2004 2:14 AM
Now that you're touring with some lovely Aussie blokes - all I want to know is: when, when, when are you coming to Australia???
Charlotte - July 17, 2004 9:01 PM
I am moving to Kingston, ON this fall and so I'm really hoping that you guys come and play an all-ages show there soon. After early September, but not during Christmas would be awesome :)
Melissa - July 25, 2004 5:11 PM
I wish I could have gotten out of work early enough to catch the guys at urban outfitters. I would have hung out there all day. What an odd place for them to be though lol.

Jay- Nice set at Urban Outfitters...sorry I was in the UK and not NYC to either see your gig or your set at the above mentioned location....kept missing you folks when I was in town....and you played the best Kink's song ever...God's Children is my super fav....keep up the music, and if you ever make it to the good ole' UK give me a holler....did you ever get your ipod?
Kathleen MacMaster - July 31, 2004 2:02 PM
Fleetwood Mac, The Bee Gees, The Beatles, The Smiths, Prince.. great bands I listen to. But I don't even have the time for music listening anymore.. not even Sloan's..
I come here once in awhile to this site, not every day like before. I miss it, living on my own and caring 2 jobs is fun but gets your mind is a daze at times. :P
Come back to Antigonish Jay, we Sloan fans miss you and Sloan. Bring the music on again here.
Hope you & Andrew had a awesome time as DJ'S.

Wondering if you, Jay, can answer this for me. All your guys merchandises that are available, is it possible, with $800.00 to buy t-shirts, vinyls, LPs, CDs, etc-a-sketches, posters etc..? If it is, can I order it all at once from this site or do I get half of it else where on the Net? Thanks, I appreciate it Jay.
Love from your fan.

You guys like The Streets? That's all I've been listening to for the last two months. Sorry I missed it! See what happens when you move?
Kathleen MacMaster - August 6, 2004 3:38 PM
Okay, Jay didn't see what I asked yet or for another reason.. Can anyone help me out? Where should I buy all the Sloan stuff?
Don't have anytime to look for this ):
Thanks.

Dante - August 8, 2004 2:00 PM
The Sloan boys should start making mixed tapes on the side and selling them at shows.
Memo to Jay F: Think about it--make random mixed tapes and allow all the Sloan-a-philes to cherish their very own, one-of-a-kind "Sloan's faves" tape. Hmmm?
Kathleen MacMaster - August 10, 2004 11:59 AM
sigh... I guess no one wants to help me.. I'll figure it out along the way of searching.
Good idea Dante. I'll mix the tapes :)
Bye.

Jennie - August 13, 2004 2:10 PM
Hi Kathleen!
I think Dante meant for Jay and/or the other three Sloaners to mix the tapes for us fans.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Hope you're doing well.

Hey! Andrew likes the Kinks! That's very cool! Just as an aside, the title is "Rainy Day In June", not "Everybody Felt the Rain". I know, I'm splitting hairs but hey, we *are* talking about the Kinks!
Kathleen, maybe your $800 would be better spent on something like rent? No offense, Sloan merchandisers.......but if you get *one thing* Kathleen, I'd get the t-shirt with the Bluenose on it...:-)
