Austin City Limits Webcast
After a few long drives we are within a stone's throw of Austin. Tomorrow afternoon we will be playing the Austin City Limits festival. If you cant make it out to the show, you can listen to us live on the Yahoo website which is broadcasting selected bits from the whole festival. We'll be on between 4:00 and 5:00pm central time.

i was at the festival and caught the performance and it was great. i know it was really hot, but you guys still put all your energy into it and i thought that was awesome. hope you guys come back to austin soon.

I agree with Melissa. I traveled to the festival as well -- unbearable heat at 4 pm -- but the band gave it their all. Thanks for coming down!

I got royally screwed and missed the entire first day of the festival. Hopefully you'll do another Toronto show soon.

HOT? Boy, I'll say.
I live in Austin and really love Sloan.
I saw them play a few months prior at a place called Stubb's. Great show! So, when I heard they were coming to the ACL fest, I was all over it.
We have had an unusually mild summer so I think it caught everyone off guard when the temperature went back up into the mid-high 90's. I actually got a mild case of heat stroke myself and probably should have gone to the safety tent for a bit of a rest and some coolness but I really didn't want to miss the show. I gave it my all when we all (tried) to sing along too!
Sload were troopers and put on a hell of a show considering the situation.
Try to swing back down soon and bring T-SHIRTS!! This is twice now that I have been screwed! haha...

hey!! you guys were AWESOME! if you remember at all i was the asian girl at the front. your performance was one of the best all throughout the festival! i waited for you guys to come out and sign stuff but i guess all of you headed out to go see broken social scene, who was great as well. please please please come to houston or austin (i rode the greyhound up there for you guys) SOON!! and yes i agree with the guy above, bring t shirts!!!!
