Who thought orange could look so cute?? (Anyone who saw the Pretty Together and Action Pact album covers, I guess) Anyway, yeah, the video is terrific!!

Great video guys. I really like the continuity of the color adjustment. Really nice.

To hell with Keith's - Sloan is Nova Scotia's best export. Very excited about this whole release, as it coincides with my tenth anniversary of obsession. Nine shows, countless encounters, and two worn-out Twice Removed cds later, and I'm still in love. Thank you, boys, once more. Here's yet another opportunity to recruit the masses. For those of you who have just recently (recently being within the last ten years) gotten on board, you've got to make everyone around you Sloan-obsessed. It's surprisingly easy. I could write a manual.
Other than that, since for once I am missing EVERY Canadian show...anything upcoming in Japan??

It's all kindsa pretty if you turn the volume off. *kick me now*

I have the same problem as Brian with this link... could we perhaps get the video available in another format? Quicktime or Real Player perhaps? Thanks :)

... Its seems like lasterday when I was walking back from Hampton Beach, sun soaked and stoned, after seeing Patrick at the driving wheel of the tour bus, on the phone, watching the sun set. I remember asking myself, where will they go from here? Where's Patrick gonna drive to? All soaked in the orange rays of a smallish dying star consuming the rest of it's volatile vapors.
The song could be pointed like a ray gun at either the boomer generation and their like, the cheap and disposable society or at a blind date.
The video is equal parts Tangerine (room temp.) and Burgundy (chilled)
Yet another knee shaking rave up from my Knuck big brothers.
Lisa (Halifax, NS) - April 19, 2005 11:28 AM
I had the same problem (codecs). E-mail me and I'll tell you how to fix it.
Miranda - April 19, 2005 1:17 PM
I'd like to hear more from Todd!

OK, Sloan is my favourite band. I'm a huge fan but I've gotta say, I find the new single and the new video just OK, not stunningly amazingly brilliant (like I'm used to from Sloan) so I'm a little mystified by all the praise. On the other hand, I'm really happy that the rest of you are enjoying it soooo much! I'm really looking forward to the DVD and the show tomorrow night!

Great video! It's good to hear a big rock tune that makes you play air guitar and shake your leg. Hope you'll pass in Montreal soon...
Morrigan - April 20, 2005 1:55 PM
Don't know if it will help you codex-impaired folks, but the video streams directly from the Sloan Myspace site -

Wow, cool video guys. So I take it that with the last two album covers and now this new video, the group's favourite colour is orange?
Hannah - April 20, 2005 6:47 PM

Aparently orange is very becoming. I hope you guy's aren't all used up yet, I know your gonna be pretty busy in May,(can't wait to see ya in S'toon).
Alicia - April 29, 2005 12:26 AM
Well, I convinced my little brothers to watch it too, and they said they liked it. I think I almost have them hooked on you, (what's a big sis for, if not brainwashing your little brothers, in a good way?)
