Never heard of such Festival. It's good to see the States are getting a taste of their music. Eventhough I live in Nova Scotia, still, everyone should have the advantage to see them. Have fun.

Great festival choice for SLOAN to play! I am so excited for the band to get exposure to this market of potential fans. I have been contemplating attending Coachella 2005 since I heard the "rumoured" line-up a couple of months ago. Stick REM on that bill and I would be the happiest girl EVER! My chances of driving from Vancouver to CA for this show just got a whole lot better.

I personally cant wait till they play on the East Coast at the VinnieBarbarino festival! And I might even sneak down south to see them play the Klukluxklanella fetival (its fun to guess who the band is underneath the white hoods they wear while on stage!)

You guys definatly need to consider coming to Guelph sometime this year. Club Denim or The Palace are two good possible venues that your booking agents should look at. Or the Hillside Festival in July would also be an excellent excuse to stop by Guelph on your tour, I know it has featured such great bands as Broken Social Scene and Metric in the past, so why not an even better band like Sloan? Or you could wait to the fall and play right here on campus at the U of G! As for the Coachella Festival, those Californians who have yet to hear of Sloan won't know what hit 'em!

Please play a Toronto show before you go to Coachella guys!!!!! That would be a great kick start for your Greatest Hits release & Tour!

Please play Vancouver sometime after May 1st!!!!!!

Make sure to hit up Calgary and do one of those amazing shows you tend to do all of the time. So yeah... do it!.. please, or something

so i'm not saying come to a specific place, i'm just saying bring me to you. i'm in california on exchange for a semester at cal state long beach from concordia in montreal and am dying for some can-con (canadian content). i'm on nin's mailing list so i found out about coachella, but, man, is it pricey, and all the cheap motels in the area are sold out that weekend.

how 'bout putting a canadian girl on the guest list? you know you want to...

a chance for the faithful sloan-loving contingent in LA to catch a rare sighting! i went to this fest last year, and it was good, but there was a serious lack of sloan, that's for sure. seeing sloan will make sitting around in the sun all day (on the scratchy grass surrounded by hippies) worth the wait.

Bravo, another San Francisco Sloan fan! Ditto Jason's comment - we're just a short jaunt away, and FAR more scintillating than Indio, CA.

That would be aweeeeesome if Sloan and Weezer played some shows together. I have loved Weezer since I was 11 (1994...I feel so old!)...and ironically I brought a DGC Rarities collection around that time because it had a rare Weezer song on it...and there was Sloan only a few tracks down. Coincidence? I think not!! (I don't know wtf I mean by that either)

I was thinking of going to this festival because of a few other bands on the lineup but when I saw that Sloan was also included, that just clinched for me ! :-)
I keep seeing the band when it's 100F outside...what's up with that ? LOL

Yeah! Come back to San Francisco - there was such a big Sloan presence in the crowd last July...but no more opening up for other bands! We want you for the entire night (or 2)! I would die to see you guys in one of the city's smaller venues...

While I'm not hitting Coachella, I will be sure to see Sloan multiple times on the tour -- lots of east coast U.S. dates, please. I'll have loads of friends with me, who will all go home chanting, "Sloooooooo-----aaaaaaannnn"

Connecticut is kind of far from wherever Sloan seems to be playing. They seem to have quite a few fans there. A lot of people I met at the second Bowery show were from Conneticut and I could imagine it a bit of a trip.
