Wow. I was refreshing it every 30-45 minutes since 7am this morning since you guys didn't post an actual time. I checked at 11am, there were no tickets on sale. I checked again at 11:45, the tickets were up. By the time I filled out Maple Music's forms the tickets were already unavailable.
Sorry if I'm a little annoyed, but a time would have been nice for people that have jobs and such... Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait til the next show you play in Toronto.

My apologies, I only state what I saw. I think it was because of something weird with Internet Explorer. I'm at work right now.
When I first tried to get the tickets, it told me they were unavailable. I refreshed the browser and suddenly they were available again. It wouldn't allow me to change the quantity to 2. I entered 2 in the quantity textbox and when I tried to checkout, it was only billing me for the one ticket. I filled out my information anyways and clicked the purchase button. It gave me an order #, which I wrote down.
When you first viewed the tickets, it stated, "Important: TICKETS ARE NOT MAILED. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING PHOTO ID AND A COPY OF YOUR RECEIPT TO THE SHOW FOR ADMITTANCE." I figured it would bring me to a receipt page that was printable. I couldn't really find anything like this, so I'm guessing all I need is the order number and my photo ID?
When I attempted to purchase the second ticket, it had the quantity filled out as "2". It wouldn't let me change it. I opened a new window to try again and this time the quantity was filled out as 3. I cleared the cookies, and history and things worked fine. Sorry if I'm nit-picking, but I've never bought through this site before, and on issues with billing things that aren't refundable to your card I like to try to be a little careful.
I guess it's a moot point now. Sorry about all that, and my earlier post. I got my tix and I'm happy. Maybe now I can start doing some work. Don't tell my boss.
Thanks,
Dan

yeah, my friend had the same problem. the 2 changed to a 1. he went back and bought a second in another transaction. please don't tell me there's a limit on one per person.. ? he also got a page saying they were sold out 15 minutes after they went on sale, but i didn't. hm. something funky, going on, maple?

there are a few tickets left - though not that many - so order yours soon!
when adding more tickets to your basket in the check out page, you must click "update basket" for those to be added. many times people will just type "2" in the quantity box and then click on "check out" without updating their basket. there are no single ticket restrictions on this show so you should be able to buy a pair....
hope this helps,
lindsay.

the above information and also the time tickets were on sale would have been a lot more useful the day before, I too went through what Dan went through with the Maple site.
at least let people know when they go on sale, enough people asked. I woke up early after working all night to keep checking to see if they were available. The update basket threw me too, and I've shopped on a lot of websites. Had to place 2 orders because of it.
in the future, Maple - it would be cool if instead of "no tix available at this time" - please post the time, no info is useless and frustrating.
In any case I'm very happy that I will be able to see Sloan !!!

what time is the actual show that day? There is no mention of this on the website or on the tickets!
ito - September 6, 2006 8:15 AM
the MapleMusic site says doors at 8

Hey Dan man
I was on the net till 2am that morning.....then 9:30am...then I actually e-mailed Maple Music to ask what was going on....but I went out with a friend that I didn't see all summer because I worked at a camp, and she's moving far away for school (we'd been planning to hang out 2 months ago!!!) I didn't get any access to the net until 11pm, and the tickets were sold out....I e-mailed them a customer service complaint and they said that for small shows like that they will post a time that they are on sale in the future. Damn straight they'd better!!!! I was so hyped about that party!!!! However, their reply was very polite and professional and they did mention that you can win tickets from edge102....yeah, good luck with that, eh?
...basically, I feel your pain!!! My older sister has been a fan since 1995, and I've been a fan since 2000, and attended 4 concerts (but no cd release party!!!) Just TWO tickets, that was all I needed! Well, at least they're coming to Hamilton....I can see them then....but it's no exclusive CD release party!! Ok.....I'll stop boo-hooing now.....
wafs - September 7, 2006 7:10 PM
YEAH ive got my tickets already!!!!
Ruh - September 8, 2006 8:48 AM
VICTORIOUS! Counting down to my first Sloan show EVER!
