I did my duty and voted.
Incidentally, my copy of NHTEOI from Yep Roc Records arrived at my home here in California yesterday, along with a second cover without a disk but with four signatures, the US bonus, where in Canada you had the separate photo. The packages appear to be identical, except for Yep Roc replacing the Sony/BMG logo. The Murderecords logo is on both. Also included was a piece of paper to permit the downloading of the two bonus tracks.
Now that gives me CDs from Maple Music and Yep Roc, plus vinyl from the Vancouver show. I think I've collected the whole set.
Okay, boys, the record's out in the States. Let's see the tour schedule!

I've voted four times already. Every computer I can get my hands on is getting put through the Chart Readers' Poll ritual ... if NHTEOI doesn't win, it's not going to be for lack of trying!

I just checked out the Chart Voter's page. Sloan are behind by 600 votes for best album and I can't understand why. NHTEOI is by far the best album of the year. I've already voted about 75 times, and I'm gonna vote more. But Sloan won't win if YOU don't vote a few (read: 25) times. It may not seem important, but for a band that's been around for about 15 years and never received the credit they deserved, the Golden Toque Award might be nice. So c'mon, get off your lazy arses and vote for the best band in the land! We owe them for that great album they gave us!!
