Yeah, that was an awesome interview - and I definitely laughed when Patrick said "That song's a little too gay," kinda reminiscent of that fan talking to Jay in the Keepin' The Tour Alive DVD, hahaha! Beautiful.
I'd love to see that old interview Patrick was talking about as well!
nice interview, but what was up with those ridiculous picture edits. i laughed out loud when the itunes logo brushed across the screen. and who needed to be reminded of what a mailbox looks like.
Rory - I totally agree...I nearly keeled over in laughter at the sight of the mailbox (the itunes, myspace, and youtube were bad enough - but that was classic!). Apparently, mailboxes are a rarity nowadays! I'm amazed they didn't show footage of an old man writing by candle light, with a quilled pen, then waiting for a man on a horse to take his letter away in the night....
"That song's a little too gay." Best quote ever. Period. Freakin' a! :)
god i just heard that song "people think they know me" and it irritated me to such a degree that i had to hunt it down. lo and behold it belongs to this crappy over-hyped moronic hicks. and now they are being interviewed by some dude who didnt make the "next canadian interviewer" cut. ugh. i guess there are enough boobs out there to keep this whole cycle moving.

"That song's a little too <i>gay</i>"...
You really NEED to post up the old Mike Clattenburg interview that Patrick refers to in the end of that piece. <i>*NEED TO*</i>

Is this the Mike Clattenburg interview? I dunno, might be him when they look in the mirror. And Jay Pentland eh? I didn't even know they were engaged!
Great Sub Pop 'Loser' t-shirts too, nice flashback!
