Andrew will be joining the musician's hockey team for the annual Juno Cup game on Friday March 31st. Chris is also on the roster, but will likely be sidelined by a hockey-related hand injury that he sustained last friday night.
For those of you who would rather see them play music, Sloan will be performing a set on April Fools night as a part of the Junofest. Details will be available soon, but they are slated to play sometime around midnight at Reflections.
Those of you who caught Chris in action in Japan in January of 2002 will be familiar with his ability to play with a broken hand. You can reassure the doubtful that the show will go on.

Is it just me, or is it Andrew in the new Kokanee snowboarding commercials? If you look closely, after the boarder bursts throught he window and lands on the coffee table, there is a guy wearing red plaid shirt who says "Did ya get it?" meaning the beer of course. Guy looks just like Andrew... watch it for yourself and see!

The shows with the Strokes already happened... in October 2002. Ticketmaster really needs to do some work on their site (and do something about their 30% "inconvenience charge" markup, but I digress...)

I echo Anne's Exclaim! Hockey concerns. I mean, I'm highly disappointed that the Hack vs. Ferries game will never happen (I was so looking forward to a Ferries victory) but Chris not playing at all would kill me. I might have to go and cheer for, like, the Jokers or Porcupines or something. You can't let that happen!
Are you guys rink-rockin' again this year? That would be SO good. I mean, after last year I'm kind of VERY excited to see what happens this time around.

Well guys, I waited outside and listened to what I could. However, my girlfriend was really cold and wet from the rain, so I had to bail...you understand. It sounded awesome, and I wish could have got in/stayed! Maybe you should come back to cape breton sometime?

Hey Chris E, I saw that sign too and went and asked the HMV guys about it. The person I talked to said yeah, new CD is coming out May 23. I hear some people talked to Chris (Murphy) though and he told them it's not til summer. I don't know what to take for the truth, but those are the two rumours out there at the moment.
