The band are working away on the new record, current reports suggest a September release.
Look to criticize the new single in July.
Keep checking back, as we are about to start an onslaught of online content. Although, to be honest, it will mainly consist of Chris “reading” the newspaper, and Andrew “smoking”.

I'm excited for the new album, but just admit it: new album in November, not September.
ROBIN - May 31, 2006 4:35 PM
I'm surprised you didn't list the Buffalo concert on August 24 for Thursday in the Square. There was a very nice pic in the Friday Guide of the band. Very excited to see everyone. Since this will be a family friendly event my daughter (9.5 yrs) will be able to see the band and finally meet Jay whom she hopes to marry! :)
Even though I'm psyched for the new album I would rather they take their time and make it a masterpiece. Action Pact will be difficult to top! But I'm sure you're up for the challenge.
See ya soon.

Tell Andrew he can't smoke anywhere in London, Ont. anymore...maybe up in a hot air balloon?
Thanks for the updates Mike...Also, Please let us know when Chris and Jay will be resuming the radio show.
Ruh - May 31, 2006 8:45 PM
newregimereigns - Don't tell Andrew that! If he smokes in a hot air balloon, Sloan will be down a drummer and up a charred pile of ash ... no fun.
Looking forward to the new record as always. I will be a Torontonian by September, so big parties will ensue when you start playing shows!

eRuh, I was kidding...;) You know I loves Andrew!
But it is true, I heard on the radio today all the bingo halls are gonna go belly up in London due to the new stricter smoking laws.

Robin in Buffalo - no wait! MY daughter wants to marry Jay! She's 12! (I took my kids to see Sloan last September, and they totally loved it!)

Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, Please, DO give us a proper sloan show!

You mean you're not a fan of the JAMbalaya and Arts, Beats, and Eats festivals in Pontiac?
I don't believe!!!
Melissa - June 4, 2006 2:36 PM
Oh Goodness, there is a Buffalo date at the end of August. I wonder if there will be a venture a bit further down to New York City. Its not summer in New York without Sloan! :)
Ealan - June 6, 2006 12:10 PM
So these upcoming tour dates mean you will be coming to Vancouver, BC right? RIGHT??? You just have to!!

I agree a sloan show in Detroit would be great, but it would be even better in toledo or in the cultural center of ohio tiffin, land of a million sloan fans.
Lyle - June 27, 2006 8:39 PM
Andrews a hunk.
mikie - July 1, 2006 2:33 PM
I wanna see Sloan play the Olympic Island this summer. I just heard about hte V2 Festival. It would be great if they were to play with all the greats being added as we speak.
