Why does Patrick angle his microphone like that?

Yeah...it's really bad vocal technique. I always wonder why he does that too.
Maybe he's channelling his inner Lemmy.

If I remember correctly, someone threw something at Patrick once and it hit him in the face. So now he angles his mic in such a manner that he is less likely to be hit in the face. I might be making that up, but I'm sure that's what someone told me. In any case, as a singer I agree that it's a very poor singing posture...especially when trying to reach those high notes (sorry Patty!) I still LOVE that song though....

This song is one of my favourites along with 'Fading Into Obscurity'. I can't wait to see the show in Toronto next month!

Chris was hit in the face with a bottle not Patrick! It happened in PEI.. check it out on youtube.
