this song seems kinda generic. and i like chris a lot, he's just the one that kinda acts like the "frontman". when i saw em play, me and my friend were taking all these pictures, and he would pose during songs for us to take em. haha, and at one point he pointed at us, and did this scissor jump kick for us to take a pic. yeah he's a little cocky, but he's having fun with it(plus i like the sounds of his new songs the best)

First off, this song is going to kick-ass. Saying this song is "generic" is like saying Money City Maniacs is generic because it is heavily bar chord oriented. And I am, in no way, saying this is a generic song when i say that. And another thing, im pretty sure sloan doesnt fund this site to comment on whos better and whos best, or who does or doesn't look like "peewee herman" ANYWAYS, having said that, i'm deffinitly looking forward to NEXT TUESDAY!

i hope y'all aren't refering to me as the troll. i've been to a sloan concert, and i enjoy lots and lots of patrick songs, i'm just saying this one doesn't seem up to snuff. it sounds a lot like all used up.

chris - your criticism seems fine to me...no troll-calling here. I actually find many of Patrick's rockers to be somewhat similar as well (while still loving them the most), but in defence of "Ill Placed", even if you do find it similar to "All Used Up," it has been lying around for a long time now, so there's a lot of amazing nostalgia attached to it...
