The last one?! Say it isn't so! ::sniffle:: Thanks for all of these -- they were a real treat!
And THANK YOU SLOAN for such a fantastic new record. (It had better not be *four* years until the next one, Mr. Pentland... but yes, I will be enjoying this one for a long, long time to come!) Cheers!
The new album is killa. I've been digging the vid clips too, yo. I'm a long time fan from Saskatchewan of all places, who's been living in BC for 7 or 8 years. I've seen you guys in Saskatoon, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm in Kelowna now, and I'm stoked for the Oct. 26th show. Rock the Fuck out. b.
This has been so great, getting to see the lads every day for a month. I'm really enjoying your new record and can't wait to hear the new songs in concert next month! It's wonderful to hear tracks from all members of Sloan, the album has more of a full sound. Have a great tour, and I'll see you in Vancouver!
Theve clips have been great! I can't wait to see you in Sudbury (for sure, since I live there) and maybe even Waterloo for Oktoberfest (since I'll be there visiting my girlfriend). I'm really pumped for the Sudbury show since it's at a bar that I love and it isn't very large. You guys put out an amazing album!! See ya October 17th (and maybe the 8th).
it's refreshing to see your favorite band keeping their fans in mind at all times. so many musicians are self-centered and working towards nothing but personal achievements. what makes Sloan so much fun to listen to/watch is the care and respect they constantly show to fans and music in general. can't wait for my copy to come in the mail...I live in FL and it's taking way too long to get here.
THANK YOU SLOAN! for the entire series. And Yes, Andrew, even before you told us to, I was already set in my mind to buy at least five copies (one play CD copy, two stay-sealed CD copies, and two vinyl copies, one play, one stay-sealed). It's my Sloan habit. We can chat later (laughs).
My copy came in the post last Saturday (with my own signed photo! Alright!) Which was pretty quick seeing as I'm living in England. 30 really solid songs with no filler as so many bands recently have done in double albums. But then Sloan doesn't do filler and fluff anyway. I literally love every track on it. Good work boys!! The clips have been really great, I've loved waking up to them each day. Hey do you know what would be cool? If you got all of them and put them into one movie to download! Yeah!
Chris really writes great songs. Does hearing ACTIONFUCT say this make all the message board deadpans feel as peaceful as a chessboard at checkmate ? either way ...blow me.
Hey I've loved all of these clips! Can't say I tended to them EVERYDAY like some, but I've been trying to keep up. Well, Chris, I have a more productive comment to make....YOU ROCK, first of all, and I think WAY more people like you then 'hate' you :) Now, the main comment is....I think the album is so awesome that it is worthy of a single from each band member - just to reveal to the public and possible future Sloan fans of how eclectic and unique this album truly is (and the band itself). I own ALL of Sloan's albums, and I gotta say, this is the album I've been waiting for. The song writing from all four of you reflects your own styles and personalities, and the album as a whole is more musically complex than other albums (not to forget your other albums - they're still precious jems too). I'm a music student, so I hope you do take my comment seriously. Fantastic job, guys! And if the fans have to wait 4 more years - it'll be worth it. (And if anyone finds the album too long, they're crazy - I can't stop listening to it since I got it in the mail with the autographed photo! Thanks guys!)
Anyways...I'll be seeing you at the Underground in my hometown AND at the Kool Haus this week!!!! ***Keep on rockin' ***

Goodbye, Farewell and Amen....wasn't this the title of the final MASH episode? Does this mean Alan Alda is a guest musician on NHTEOI?
