For some reason when I was a wee lad (age 10/11ish) I always used to get Sloan and Sonic Youth Mixed up. Now when I listen I think of it as the closest thing to a modern day Beatles. This video validates my associations :)
Hi I'm Eric, and I'm stuck in Ireland until October 4th so I have yet to hear the new album, but I am psyched times a million. You guys are brilliant. Can't wait to see you in Victoria come the 25th. \m/
I went to Sam Goody here in the states and asked the clerk if he knew when the new album would be released, he looks at me with a blank look and says ''Who's Sloan?'' O.o So I asked a friend in Calgary to pick it up for me since he will be here next week for a visit. WOOHOO tomorrow I'll have my Sloan!
I just heard the new single "Who Taught You To Live Like That" and I am convinced that, at least when the chorus is sung, the band members of Sloan have been kidnapped and replaced by The Partridge Family.

they don't have a US distributor anymore. so they said earliest in winter. but i ordered mine from maplemusic.com. it was cheap
