AND everybody come early, apparently Two Hours Traffic are playing at 1.30 - I haven't really found proper information about this, but anyway, they are really good, so hopefully it's all true.
Sorry, obviously I got excited and forgot to read all the words....I just got into TO and I will definately be there Sunday....Go Blue Bombers...and Sloan...of course.
Yes, I also remember hearing that Two Hours Traffic are playing. If you miss them Sunday, I believe they are at least one of Joel Plaskett's weeklong list of shows in TO in December.
WIth THT playing at 1.30, and Sloan playing at 3.30, what form of entertainment in the cold weather will they provide in between?
Just as a late response to Mike's post re: Two Hours Traffic, they are opening for the Joel Plaskett Emergency at the (legendary) Horseshoe Tavern for two nights: December 14 (Ashtray Rock) and December 15 ("anything and everything").
Mike, Those were CBC camera you saw. The CBC kicked off their Grey Cup coverage with a live performance by Sloan. They played "the good in everyone." It was cool.
Hey guys, Just wanted to say your set before the game was awesome, thanks for putting on a great show. Hope you guys like the new pics I uploaded to the gallery, give me a shout if you want the hi res versions.
They do tour the U.S.! I saw them twice in Michigan in 2007. I've seen them 22 times and aside from one time in Toronto and one time in Windsor, the rest of the shows were in Michigan and Ohio.
Now when is Joel Plaskett going to tour the U.S.? I haven't seen him since about ten years ago when he was still in Thrush Hermit.

See you there!

What time should we be there to see Sloan's set?
It'll probably be a little cold to hang around ALLLL afternoon, then to find out we could have arrived later that day, to catch their set.

mr. nelson emailed me and told me they will go on around 3:30. Hope that helps. See you all there

Sloan will be onstage from 3:30 until around 5pm. The stage is near Front Street between John and Simcoe.

Hey,
I noticed there were cameras (maybe CBC cameras) at the show. Did anyone catch it live at home on Sunday? If the show aired, did anyone tape it?
