Parallel Play on Vinyl and Other Merch News
The vinyl release of Parallel Play is now available through
Yep Roc and the
Sloan online store. It is pressed on 180 gram vinyl with a beautiful 'tip-on' sleeve. If somebody suggests that "they don't make them like they used to...", you can point them towards this beauty. It also comes with a free download code for the album, so you can also place the songs onto your favorite mp3 player.
We have also added the new "Jay & Chris & Patrick & Andrew" tote bags. They are printed on natural cotton.
We recently restocked the DVDs, vinyl and older discs and we have put all of the older t-shirts on sale to help clear out stock before the new ones arrive.
We'll also have a fine selection of goods at the merch table at upcoming shows. Thanks for your support!

I got the LP via Yep Roc post. It sounds terrific. Nice cover and sleeve, too.

I bought the Jay&Chris&Patrick&Andrew tote a couple weeks ago at a show and it's totally my favourite thing ever.
I have a John&Paul&Ringo&George tote too, so when I saw the Sloan version I totally flipped out!
Best thing ever!

The SPECTACULAR tote and four LPs arrived yesterday. What a treat - like Christmas came early! Kudos to Maple Music for their super-prompt and efficient shipping. And blessings on Sloan - I hadn't realized how much I missed buying vinyl. Really takes me back to my youth. Yeah, CDs and downloads and such are convenient and portable, but happiness is a warm LP. They'll be played, displayed and enjoyed! Thanks, guys.

Been listening to Sloan for a number of years, but just found this site.
On the topic of vinyl releases, are "Navy Blues" and "Between the Bridges" available on vinyl? Were they ever pressed on vinyl?

Yes, Steve, they were: I have two copies of BtB (1 sealed for safekeeping) and one of NB (which I am kicking myself for not having 2 LP copies... or do I and I've forgotten?)
