The recent Will Currie and the Country French / Sloan collaboration "Push Pins" has been making some waves. It has recently been featured as a pick on both John Sakamoto's Anti-Hit List and CBC 3's Podcast.
The bands have also been performing the song live on their western Canadian concert dates. Still another week of shows to go in Alberta and BC. Please try to catch one if you are in the vicinity.
We should also acknowledge the immediate support of Radio MRCH, which instantly added the track to heavy rotation. It is already at number three on their charts! Thanks to Skip Lowe and all of the MRCH Morning Zoo for helping to take this track to the next level!

And I can see why: the song is **** GREAT! I listened to it five times in a row, the first night I found it. Even though Parallel Play has been in heavy rotation while driving this summer, I would LOVE IT EVEN MORE if there were a full album as enthralling as Push Pins!

Bouncy bassline meets sweet harmonies and sharp lyrics--what's not to love about this tune? Is there a chance in hell either of these bands tours will make it to Arizona? 'Cause I'm afraid that when it comes to rocking music, this well has dried up.
Please visit sunny Tucson! I'll make enchiladas!

The bass line to Push Pins is killer. Is it Will Currie's bassist or is it Chris?
