Dakota Reviews In Place Of Real News.

Thanks to everybody who came out to the War Child benefit at the Dakota on Monday night. Sloan were happy to help raise awareness and funds for War Child and the evening also resulted in a few nice blog mentions and photos. Special thanks to BNL, Panic Manual and to Sara Collaton for taking some fine photos of the proceedings.

We are on the verge of confirming some more tour dates which should make our western Canadian friends happy. Perhaps a few more for the states as well while we are at it...I appreciate all of the input on where you would like to see the band play. Even if it may seem futile, it really does remind me of the places we have not visited for awhile.

Please come to Buffalo. You cancelled your trip in August because of Chris' injury. You owe us a concert. How about Sloan for Christmas? I would love to find them under my tree!

I moved to Regina (from Winnipeg) a year ago and have already met quite a few Sloan fans. I think you should swing by the Queen City and make us prairie fans happy!! Well, you should probably swing by Winnipeg too...lots of fans there too.

Speaking of western Canada, why not hit a few places in the western US? Have you ever played Colorado, specifically Denver? You should. It is quite a nice place filled with people who love music. You guys would kill here.
