Today's thanks are going to Chris Butcher and his team who have filmed and edited a complete Sloan concert from the Parallel Play tour in 2009. Clips from that film are included in today's video.
We have been entertaining the idea of releasing it. What do you think?

I'd buy that. Sloan's music is even better live and it would be fun to relive it from the "Parallel Play" tour. It's been awhile since you guys have put out a live album, perhaps because of Youtube... but this would be better quality I'm sure.

I would definitely buy that! I bought the "Keepin' the Tour Alive" DVD for the Action Pact Tour, too, loved it. Did the question also imply releasing all of these interviews for your 20th anniversary on DVD? Because that would be cool.

Yes, please do (release it).
I have enjoyed these videos immensely. Thanks to all who contributed.

Yeah! Release a DVD! It sounds like you guys got a lot of cool video stuff in the archives. I'd buy any DVD you put out. A show from the Parallel Play tour sounds great to me.

Cor I'll say you should ...
It'll make up for you not getting to the UK much (hint, hint ...)

Do it! Much like our good friend Brent here, I'm happy with any video that comes out from you guys since you don't make it to the UK too often.
In fact, as we're on the subject - does anyone remember the black and white live video of Sloan playing Friendship live which was on the A Sides Win DVD? I seem to recall it was from a show where they played all of Between The Bridges live. Who else would love to see that?! I'd pay good money, possibly the rights to such footage, to have a live version of Marquee And The Moon...
Just in case you're wondering, I don't have such money. And this is definitely the nerdiest post I've put on the interweb.

What do we think? What do YOU think? I'd love to see a full-length live Sloan video and would also pay "good" money for it (is US money still good?).

that black and white BTB footage is basically 99% edited.

Definitely release that DVD!!! Hit while the iron is hot!
Margaret - May 23, 2011 8:39 AM
Yes! Yes, all the DVD content you can muster, I will buy.
Maggie - May 24, 2011 2:34 PM
Please do release it so I can buy and watch it!

A DVD would great. I would buy it and watch it. (As I have done with the 'Keepin' The Tour Alive' DVD and the bonus disc from 'A Sides Win'.)
You guys are excellent!

I also agree with Mike and Brent...come back to England already!! There was a tweet some time back saying 'get on to your local promoter' or something, but I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. All I'm saying is come play flipping London!! We'll pack the place out!

Didn't Sloan film a black & white show way back around the time of "Between the Bridges" in the style of that Dutch Zeppelin show? I can't believe I remember that but I specifically remember waiting for that to come out. Where dees?
