Sloan

We had a great time down in Austin and we are just starting to sort through our photos and piece together what everybody had accomplished in a few short days. I'll try to post some more photos and video links over the next few days. Thanks to everybody who came out to the shows!

Certainly a highlight for Chris was watching Toronto's Fucked Up playing at the Mess With Texas party on Saturday afternoon. When one of his musical heroes, Keith Morris, joined them for a final song, Chris was ecstatic. It is mentioned towards the end of this Toronto Star article.

If you look closely, you can see Chris going bananas in the foreground of this youtube video.

We are happy to announce that Sloan have been selected to play with The Police at their upcoming tour stop in Edmonton. The June 2nd show at Commonwealth Stadium will be among the first stops on The Police's first tour in 23 years! Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.

It will be a great way to kick off Sloan's summer tour schedule. We will have more dates to announce soon!

We have just added a number of tour dates to our schedule for May. These dates will allow us to cover most of the Eastern US. We are still looking into a few more shows and should have a few more interesting announcements in the days to come.

Sloan recently dropped by the Fearless Music studios in New York City and recorded a few songs live. The first of which will be aired this Saturday, February 24th at 1:00am EST on Fox 5 in the New York City area. If you are not in the NYC area, check out the time and channel listings on the Fearless Music website here, to find out when and where else it is aired in the USA.

If you are not in the USA, be sure to check the Fearless Music website the following week, as they will post the performance. You also will be able to vote for Sloan as your favorite band that week. Eventually the performance will be archived on the site, so you can view it whenever you want!
