For those of you who were unable to attend, here are the Sloaner's set lists from the recent spate of Poptones gigs in Toronto:
Mr. Ferg will be appearing on a live talk show called "What's In the Bag" on the Talk TV cable channel (#75 on your dial, for Ontario residents). The show airs tomorrow (Wednesday Aug. 1st) at 7:30 ET.
The show will also feature like-minded guests including Murray Lightburn (The Dears), Matt Mernagh (Chart Magazine), and Julie Booth.
Our own Jay will be co-hosting an internet radio show on 2kool4radio.com called "This Is Loungecore". The show will appear on the site next Wednesday (July 18) and will be archived at the site for a week.
Sloan has signed a new licensing deal with BMG Canada, after recently ending their contract with Universal Music Canada on amicable terms.
(FYI: Cameron Carpenter, who is the Director of National Press and Artist Relations at BMG Canada, originally signed Sloan to MCA Records back in the day...)
