Re-live what will become the band's most infamous performance ever broadcast, either through video clips (courtesy of Antonia D.) or screen caps. Suck on that, Campanelli!

Synopsis: Halifax natives Sloan have been a band for ten years. Considering their history with a breakup, a band label deal and four distinct personalities in the band, this is a huge feat. They recorded their sixth studio album Pretty Together over the last year, and The New Music went on the road with them on their latest tour, and talked to each member as they hung out in Toronto.
Airdates: Nov 12 @ 9pm ET, Nov 18 @ 4:30pm ET (airing on Much Music.)
On Sat Nov 3rd, CBC Radio Two's Radiosonic will check in on the lads while in the middle of their North American tour. The program airs 7pm ET, 8pm AT, and 8:30pm NT.
Sloan will be visiting MuchMusic Oct 30 at 8pm ET to discuss the new album. The interview will re-air Nov 4 at 3pm ET.
On Halloween (Oct 31), the band will appear on Open Mike with Mike Bullard. The show will air the same night on the Comedy Network and CTV.
The two bonus tracks that will appear on the Japanese import are titled "Had Enough" and "Helen". The (alleged) North American streetdate is Nov 6, while the album is due out in Japan Oct 24.
There is apparently another band making the rounds in the States calling themselves Sloan. We kid you not. Some of you may have been confused by the conflicting tour dates recently posted on Pollstar. Three dates - Chapel Hill, Decatur, Lake Harmony - are not a part of OUR tour schedule (sorry to disappoint the folkies in Pennsylvania). Stay tuned to this page for any new info (and to avoid further confusion).
Have Not Been The Same: The CanRock Renaissance by Michael Barclay, Ian A.D. Jack and Jason Schneider will be out the week of September 25th through ECW Press. This near 800 page creation (with well over 100 photos) weaves the stories of various scenemakers and highly influential bands of the '80s and '90s from across the country including The Tragically Hip, Change of Heart, Mary Margaret O'Hara, The Rheostatics, Neil Young, Blue Rodeo and Sloan. An entire chapter is devoted to the history of our beloved Sloan and a separate chapter documents the development of the East Coast underground weaving the stories of Jale, Eric's Trip, The Super Friendz, Thrush Hermit, Rebecca West, Hardship Post, Black Pool, Jellyfishbabies and Sarah McLachlan's early beginnings. The book will retail at $29.95.
