Sloan has signed a new licensing deal with BMG Canada, after recently ending their contract with Universal Music Canada on amicable terms.
(FYI: Cameron Carpenter, who is the Director of National Press and Artist Relations at BMG Canada, originally signed Sloan to MCA Records back in the day...)

"There is a demo of a new Sloan song called 'Pretty Together' that is included with the new issue of Comes With A Smile (a nice glossy British fanzine). They are limited, but apparently there are some still available the darla records website. This song will not be on the upcoming LP either....but may see the light of day in a different form at another time." --Jay F.

The Sloan boys will be heading down to Vancouver at the end of May, to start mixing their (still-untitled) upcoming album. On an interesting note: the band will be working with one of the guys who originally helped put together Smeared. (But I wouldn't hold my breath for a "Left of Centre redux". Or at least I hope not. Ha.) No new release date for the album has been set yet.
