I drove from Rochester by myself to see you guys for the first time. The show was great! ;well worth the trip.Love the new CD!

Big fan of t-shirts, had a good one on when i saw you in Buffalo, oh, about 10 yrs ago. im not sure if you would remember it tho. It said Frequent Masterbator. ah, good times. anyways, you guys RULE! I cannot believe no one has written about this show. I was fortunately in Chicago on business and it was the best Sloan show I've ever seen. There were so many people taking pics. Where are they? Only thing keeping in from being a perfect show was the lack of 'chester the molester' -- the crowd was BEGGING for it! CHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me get this started off. The Golden Dogs put on a great show, lots of energy, sounded great and really nice too. As for Sloan, Chris toughed it out even though his voice still wasn't 100%. Much appreciated, veteran rocker move. Patrick and Andrew seemed really into it this night as well. On the other hand it was Jays night off apparently as he was not into it at all, which is fine. Agree with an earlier poster that the MRCH thing has to go. The new stuff was really rocking and sounded great live, props to Chitown for coming out pretty big for a Monday night show.

Got to the venue around 5:45. Andrew was onstage setting up his drums while the first band of the night (whose name I can't recall) were doing their soundcheck. I stood by the stage and noticed a few feet to my right was Chris Murphy. I walked over and introduced my self and thanked him for coming to the U.S. for some shows. He was very cordial. I wished him a good show and left (he was with a group of folks so I didn't want to overstay my welcome). I didn't know there were three bands before Sloan, so my wife and I walked around a bit. Patrick walked past us in a quest for some food; he returned a few minutes later carrying a plate. He stayed and watched the third band for a few minutes. He signed some autographs. Jay also walked right past us at one point. As the sun began to set on this, the longest day of the year, Sloan took the stage. There was lightning in the distance. The wind almost blew Patrick's hat off; he took it off after awhile. About 40 minutes into their set, they started "Ill Placed Trust." Then the rain began. My dear wife had been such a trooper to even go to the concert with me (she likes Sloan, but is not a huge fan) that I didn't want her to have to stand in the pouring rain for the rest of the concert. So we took off. Still, 40 minutes of Sloan is better then two hours of most any other band.

They didn't do "If it feels good..", they ended with "The Good in Everyone." (btw, *squee*) Great show in Cleveland guys. I was bummed about Chris' vox, but otherwise, I still though it was a fantastic show!!!

very very good! what made this show was the full audience participatioN! the black sabbath cover was good, but i love it when you guys do ac/dc's jailbreak.... just a blast!

better late than never! wow i say!!! i remember this show well.. the strongest sloan show next to the 92-93 agora show.. a sloan blow out! all force and chris in raw form!

a lil different than most sloan shows, but non the less very well executed. i have seen sloan many times , including 1992-93 at the agora for smeared... too bad chris' voice was shot, but still they rocked... patrick kicked ass and was even able to play very well even though he was buzzed! hope you guys come back soon and keep going on.. sloan is and will always be one of the best unrecognized bands in the usa.. by the way, i missed chris' leg kicks! thanks for coming to cle!
