Sloan

I remember this show based on the fact that it was my very first Sloan show. I had my then girlfirend and my best friend with me, and I remember it being pretty cold. At one point before the show, Chris and Andrew had come outside, and when they'd seen us, they'd asked if we'd been thrown out. I also know that this was the gig where I'd sort of met Al, who ran a Sloan website for a while. In any case, I was on the left side of the stage, right next to the PA speakers, and about 8 feet from the band for the entire night. Well, this past week I'd gone back to see the lad's in Cambridge at TT the Bear's place, and when I came home, I'd placed my ticket stub in with my "concert box" (a collection of various ticket's, programs set list's and otherwise from over the year's). Anyway, I came across the set list from that show, so here goes...

Another thing I remember was that it was someone's birthday that night, or the next day. It might have been Mike Nelson, who I am sure would know better than I would. Whoever it was, they were turning 30.....Chris had us singing to him. Anyway, that's about all I have.
