i was at that show. it rocked. and the night before i saw sloan in a little pub in camden town. couldn't believe my luck. jon scofield was playing at the Jazz Cafe, but it was full and we stumbled on sloan around the corner.
This was a fantastic show - after a little pre-concert preparation at the Maple Leaf pub, it was great to be surrounded by a bunch of Canadians again, listening to some great Canadian music!
I to was at the show the night before getting to see Sloan play in such a small pub. I was also at the show the following night with the Hip at the shepards Bush Empire. I was also with the group of people coming from the Maple Leaf after some prepouding of Molsons.
Two amazing shows with two awsome bands that you wouldn't be able to see in Canada, shared with a few fellow canadains. Priceless.
