This was my third Sloan show. I drove up to
Boston/Cambridge from Morgantown,West Virginia
to see the show with my friend Robin. It was a good solid eleven hour drive and IT WAS WORTH EVERY MILE!!!! One of the reasons I didn't want to leave Boston was fear that I would'nt see another Sloan show, but I took a chance with my ratty car and me and Robin were rewarded with an incredible
show. I came back to Morgantown and this show was all I could talk about. Ultimate Fakebook put on a nice set too. I thought their bass player's right hand would fall to pieces-he was playing that hard...... Even saw a couple members of The Pills in the audience. (The ASIA bio. they gave to Sloan as an 'end of tour/good luck present was,err cute.) Like I said above, it was worth every mile. Sloan-to me and to the rest of the audience that night were and are the greatest rock and roll band in the world. O.k., I can't speak for the rest of the audience, but I think it's safe to assume....... The time remaining on the public terminal that I'm using doesn't permit me to offer a more 'literate' review so I have to skip right to the hyperbole... If you know anyone who hasn't seen this amazing band, drag them-kicking and screming if you have to- and they will never be able to thank you enough.. Good luck with ACTION PACT, and I hope to see the great Sloan juggernaut on tour..
