It was worth the drive to Bala - especially for that transposed version of 'She Says What She Means.' It's one of my favorite Sloan tunes, and I had been disappointed not to hear it at the previous two shows I'd been to. It came out a little rusty, but I'm not complaining. When was the last time you guys played it anyway?
After this show, I was hanging out in a bar (not the one on the corner, but the other, smaller one -- ah, Bala), and I met a hot girl.
Best Sloan show ever.
