Sloan

I was a new listener to Sloan when I came to this show. It was truly amazing to watch this band--definitely one of the better live shows I've seen. Please come back to Chicago!

We did two shows in one night here.
Caught Belle & Sebastian early show, then swung over to Metro to catch Sloan. Chris Murphy made a comment about wanting to see B & S.
Don't worry Chris, you Sloan boys blew 'em away.
Y'all had a nice mix of the new songs and classics.
We had to miss the encore due to the "over concert virus", or so said the doctor. Rock On!

I was at that concert with a bunch of friends and we saw Sloan outside the Salt-n-Pepper Diner before the show. Unfortunately, we kinda snubbed you guys because we had a short conversation about how we actually recognized the band. My friends and I, thinking that the band had better things to do with their time, didn't invite Sloan in to have a bite to eat before the show. We left them watching us walk in. Sloan, if you see this post, and you want us to make up for snubbing you, we'll take you to the diner for a bite before the July 6th show!!!
