good show i met them and talked to chris and patrick before hand.they were cool guys and i asked them to play lines you amend which they then said was "for the all ages section" which was me and some guys.i asked chris before hand to play chester the molester but he doesnt remember the lyrics anymore.i suggested i am the cancer for the firts encore.

Sloan was great, Chris looked sexy...it was all good. I'll be at EDGEFEST :)

Sloan Rocked!!

To my amazement , I got to see the best band in canada play in a small city like Port Colborne. It left a smile on my face for days . It's been seven long years since i saw you guys play , my first being in Peterborough. I am a (to my husbands horror) self proclaimed Sloan groupie, the show was great, and i had a good time. I have some decent pictures which I will try to send at a later date. One last comment which everybody finds sad, yes I named my son after the band, sad but true and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for the great music.

you guys rocked like you always do...just one question though chris...do you often lick things that often on stage? hahaha...love you guys...keep rockin' it the old school way.

The show in Port was amaaaazing! My husband and I were on a road trip to America, and heard on the radio (while in Niagara Falls) that Sloan was playing that night in Port Colborne. I looked at my husband with an incredibly excited look on my face, and he immediately turned the car around. It's funny how excited I get when I think about the very cool picture I got of myself with Chris and Patrick. But yeah, their performance was great. Getting a slurpee after the show was a perfect ending to the night. Chris, I wanted to offer you some slurpee to refresh you, but didn't know if you'd accept. Maybe next time?

I think it's so cool that I can see my favourite band in the whole world for $2 and get to be in the front row. If my favourite band was someone like U2, would I get to do that? No way!
Sloan was awesome in Port Colborne. At Edgefest, Chris told me that it went "better than he thought it would..." I thought they were great.
I've seen Sloan 10 times now and I will continue to see them everytime they're in my neighbourhood, until I die. Thanks for being so cool!

Awesome show, the boys were nothing but cool to me and my few buddies before the show chris let my friend slice a watermelon of his head with a real samurai sword and were nice enough to let us on the stage and get some chris murphy and friends rock out photos, lol they also kindly played take it in for the encore upon my request , i`ve seen and met sloan a few times great show, great guys keep rockin

port colborne was teeming with people that night, and the positive vibes could only be attributed to the imminent Sloan show. i will always remember that canal days show because i went with my 13 year old son Rikky. there are precious few bands that appeal to both of our tastes, so i was only cautiously optimistic as to whether Rikky would get into the music. in true form, the set list was filled with so many recognizable anthems, Rikky was hooked from the get-go.
