Anyone know who's opening for Sloan tonite...not that they need an opener cuz they are going to KICK ASS

You guys really rocked!!! The show was unbelievable way to go and a special thank you for making a 10 year old's year. My little niece (Summer) was so excited to get your autographs and really loved meeting you all. She said you're her favourite band on the planet and she said she's going to use the pick she got for her guitar lessons. You are the NICEST guys around thanks so much!!!:)

The show in Edmonton was amazing! It was the biggest crowd Sloan has played to in Edmonton ever so it was really special. Cuff the Duke was the opener which was pretty good although they started playing a half hour later then scheduled. Everyone knew the lyrics to all the songs which made "Other Man" really stand out as one of the best of the night. My favourite however would have to be "Backstabbin'." An all around excellent concert.

Saw Sloan last night at Reds. This is the 2nd time seeing the band in less than a year, having seen them at Klondike Days. All I can say is the band is great live...but Reds is the worse place to see a show. The sound sucks, horrible accoustics and very 'tinny' sounding. It was really hard to hear the lyrics and there are bad feedback. I would recommend seeing the band in a venue that will truly emphasize their sound and showcase their talent. One good thing was the tickets were cheap, and I'll NEVER see another live show at Reds. FIND A NEW CONCERT HALL EDMONTON!!!

The show was stellar as usual, really enjoyed the stuff from the new Record.

One thing. Chris, did I see you push up your glasses with the microphone while you were playing?? Becase THAT is what Rock and Roll is all about!!

Well, I went to both the show at Red's and your preformance at K-days. I just want to say that both shows were really amazing. The energy was intense and I can't wait until the next time you guys swing around the Edmonton area. I plan to be there... I just want to add that before the show I was standing around and Jay walked right past me, twice... I wanted to say something but I knew I would have accidentally said something embarassing like "Oh my God, I want to lick you"... I'm not saying it's not true but it would have still been a little odd. On that note, I want to say the band was spectacular and I loved every moment. I'll never forget and I'll love you guys forever. Keep up the good work.

I couldn't go, and that is why I hate my life. Saw Sloan at K-days though, and although back then I didn't really know who they were, it was fantastic!

So I had my friend steal me a bunch of the posters advertising the show.. So guess what guys, you're now plastered all over my ceiling!
Please come to Deadmonton again sometime and make my life complete.

YOU GUYS WERE AMAZING ON FRIDAY, at Reds.. you guys probably dont remember me, but im the one with the makeout Bandit shirt. I just want to say: YOU BETTER BE BACK IN EDMONTON SOON.. Your music kicks ass, you guys kick Ass!! Chris: i love the way you push your glasses up with the mike, the way you did tose turns with your guitar, the way yu play that bass and the drums.. Jay: I LOVE YOU.. Patrick!! the guitar solos were awesome. Andy> where were you when i wanted your autograph?? When i saw you guys at Kdays i thought you were great, But Friday topped it all... Rock on. ~k

Chris, Patrick, Jay, Andrew - a fine job as usual, especially on the new stuff. Judging by the crowd, Edmonton appreciates you guys.

It's a shame that Fosters beer was on sale. I had to pony up $5.25 for some good ol' Canadian beer to enjoy with a great Canadian band. Oh well, such is life.

Sloooo-ooan, sloooo-ooan. What can I say about the concert other than it rocked. They certianly put on a good show. That being said I still have no idea where you were supposed to get Fosters beer. There's something wrong with promoting a special that you can't find. Oh well, still good times.

The show at Red's was awesome! It was my first time seeing Sloan live, and hopefully not my last.
Everyone had a really great time. The band was so nice...and funny. I loved Chris' impromtu spin while singing one song. Rock on!!

Oh my god you guys were sooooo awesome!! I must say I really really REALLY hope you guys come back to Edmonton soon. I had to leave early, so I didn't get Chris's autograph. That really made me sad, because Chris you're my hero!! I Loved your little spins, and I was so happy when you did your kick like in The Rest of my Life music video, that made my day. It really did. Anyways, I hope you guys plan on making music for a while yet, because I swear I'll be heart broken if I never get to meet you. Chris I Love your glasses, I think it's awesome you can wear them without feeling stupid about it, because a lot of people can't.
I really liked your shirt Jay, I Loved how it only went down to your elbows and then folded back. By the way, I noticed you have the exact same guitar(the black and white Rickenbacker) that John Lennon had with the Beatles. If that was intentional, kick ass!!

One more time, you guys are the best. My favourite band. Please come back to Edmonton soon, so I can get your autographs. I'd die to meet you, I really would.

Good times, as always, but I found the energy a bit lacking for a Sloan show. Poor Jay seemed to be sick, but what was Chris's excuse? He was posing a lot, but I wasn't feeling it. And where was "Underwhelmed"? And why only 2 songs for Andrew? Hate to dwell on the negative, but I criticize because I love... :) And Jay remains the coolest for giving so much time to fans after each & every show -- what a doll!

Cuff the Duke kicked ass. Hulkamania, you rule! ;)
