Amazing! You guys have so many good songs, it is a damn shame you guys aren't Kiss big. Its a damn shame I can't buy a Chris Murphy latex halloween mask.
Anyways, this is only the second time playing here, and make sure you come back.
I did not get to see the show, but I did get Chris Murphy's autograph when he was at the grocery store just before. It was so cool and everyone else is jealous. He's a real down-to-earth, normal type of a person. I was greatly impressed, and I openly apologize for not having been more helpful. I got a bit flustered. If I didn't have to work, I would have gone to the show; even though he said "Don't, It's a really crappy bar." True story, it is a crappy bar, but that's not the point.
last night's show was amazing!! Nice to hear lots of songs off the new record - even if that meant not playing "deeper than beauty", my favourite. ;)
thanks for coming to lethbridge, guys - happy birthday jay!
Well I was at the show and I have to say..everytime I see Sloan they put on a KICK ASS ROCK SHOW.
It is nice to hear a mixture of old and new songs (and often the occasional oddball cover).
I was over all impressed by the show (though it didn't seem long enough).
Happy Birthday to Jay, I was glad that he was celebrating in our groovy little city.
Good luck on the rest of the tour and I look forward to seeing Sloan again
ps ...I could always handle hearing a few more cuts off of Smeared.
Awesome show guys! Terrible venue guys. Thanks for giving me a reason to go to the roadhouse...I would need a damn good one!
XOXOXO

I'm pretty late posting this, but oh well :)
Wow, great show! I've been wanting to see Sloan play live for years now, and I wasn't at all disappointed.
Chris is such a cool guy, and I can't stop bragging to friends that I played "Blackbird" for him on guitar.
I wrote a big long review of the show [I work for the university paper], so I linked to it on my website:

Well I made the trip over from Cranbrook to see Sloan, in spite of the fact I've been a Sloan fan for many years, I'd not seen the live show. And they did not disappoint, the show was great, I met them all except for Jay whose autograph I'll need for my liner notes, I'll have to getcha later Jay. I really like the new cd, and it was nice to see them perform most of the cuts, and always nice to hear Sensory Dep. one of my favorites. A.P seems a little rockier than the usual a nice departure, I thought, even if it is a little chinsy in length. I was hoping to see Fade Away as the next single, I missed the siren sequence on Money City, that's always my cue to crank it up and concerts never seem long enough for me. But those things aside I really enjoyed the show and meeting the guys who all seemed quite nice. I've posted some pictures, not a very flattering picture of Andrew but it's hard to get a good pic of drummers in action. Speaking of Andrew if you've not seen his paintings surf them out on line, he's obviously been blessed with many talents. Continued success to Sloan and congrats on their nominations for the upcoming EMCA's in Feb. we'll all be rooting for y'all. "Looking forward to next time." Regards Deanne
