Fan Reviews

My bestfriend and I are avid concert enthusiasts. He being the die hard Sloan fan, made me aware of our prescense was going to be Capital Musical Hall. I ,having had, a inkling of taste for their music agreed. All hinderance towards their music was lost tonight. The bands ability to play and put on a amazing show rated at the top of my concert list tonight. I also became aware that Chris is extremely hot at a much closer view. The majority of songs that I previously did not have an ear for were intenisified with greatness during the show tonight. I now can say, I am a sloan fan with truth and a smile. These will some treasured memories held for the rest of my life.

Great time at a great location. It is so much better to see Sloan in a small venue than a big concert hall. Does anyone have the set list from this concert? Thanks.

The show last week was great! Sloan played an amazing show and it was a lot of fun. Glad to hear Laurie had a good time, that girl really has to stop doubting my taste in music!

Anyways, for those wanting to know the setlist, here it is (just don't ask for the order): everything off Action Pact, People of the Sky, Good in Everyone, Lines you Amend, She Says What She Means, Money City Maniacs, Ground for the Sky, Great Wall, I Love a Long Goodbye, If it Feels Good Do It.

It would have been nice to hear at least one song off of Between the Bridges, but hey, what can you do?

WHEN ARE YOU COMMING BACK TO OTTAWA. I missed your shows...come back!

Great show. Absolutely amazing energy, drive,
and talent. Enviable.
Nice to meet you Chris, Jay. See you on the countermarch!

Stuart,
I have the setlist for the show...was awesome and was my 6th time seeing the band. First time I saw them was in March 1997 when they played the Congress Centre...they have yet to disappoint me! Stellar Preformance!! Action Pact is on the all time fav albums...solid solid show.

I THINK THE SHOW MIGHT HAVE BEEN GREAT. BUT THE VOLUME (AT LEAST ON THE UPPER DECK WAS DISTRACTINGLY LOUD). I MIGHT ADD I WAS NOWHERE NEAR THE SPEAKERS. DON'T GET ME WRONG -- I LIKE LOUD MUSIC. PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TELLING ME TO "TURN IT DOWN" MY WHOLE LIFE. AND I EXPECTED A LITTLE RINGING IN MY EARS FOR A DAY OR SO AFTER. WHAT I DID NOT EXPECT IS ACTUAL PAIN IN MY EARS FOR ALMOST A WEEK AFTER, FOLLOWED BY OVER A MONTH OF EVERYTHING SOUNDING LIKE I WAS LIVING UNDER WATER. I FULLY SUPPORT THE "IF IT FEELS GOOD DO IT" PHILOSOPHY. HOWEVER, THIS DID NOT FEEL GOOD. OK, ALL YOU HARDCORE ROCK AND ROLLERS CAN GO AHEAD AND CALL ME A "PUSSY" NOW, BUT I PROBABLY WON'T HEAR YOU ON ACCOUNT OF MY PERMANENT HEARING DAMAGE!!!!
