well Chris...I just got off the phone with you and told Nick I would add a "fan" review.....It was nice talking to you guys....I hope all is well on the Sloan bus..and tell Mr. Andrew that I said HELLO! Nick (how could you forget a face like this) just kidding! Anyhow I will keep in touch, obviously not through here, cause I dont think we will be talking to much through the web, moreso through the phone...You boys are wonderful, tell everyone i said hey! Hope the show went well tonight! It's 2:30, I have to get up in 4 hours....I was going to come back that night---until i got rushed by the crazy girls trying to find JET as i got off their bus,hmmm....ANNOYING! Well, I came to the show to see JET. I didn't even know that others were playing as well or even who these bands were. I wasn't prepared to stand through two other bands in 100 degree heat. (UM air-conditioning anyone!?) HOWEVER, I was very impressed by your performance. Pure rock and roll and it was fantastic. Extra Kudos to Andrew. Never have I seen a drummer rock so hard, not be obtrusive but actually blend with the rest of the musicians, and never falter throughout the entire performance. I am definitely going out to buy your cd. Thanks for the great show!

You guy's played an awesome show last night, as did the everyone's and Jet, I just love the way the bass player (sorry dont know your name) plays, it's so cool , i was in the front of the crowd towards the right (audience view) side of the stage, or for you (the band) it would be the left, it was very awesome, i'll make sure to pick up your album/cd/record (whatever the hell you want to call it..i'll call it a disc) i'll make sure to pick up your "disc"

Sloan rocked Anaheim at the House of Blues last night, sure it was the third time I had seen Sloan this year but they're always pulling new tricks out of their sleeves so it never gets boring. Murphy's "rock kick" has improved significantly in the last few months, I've also noticed he has been getting more air on his stage jumps as well as distance in his leaps, not sure if this is the work of a trainer of sole practice due to months of extensive touring. The best thing about this show is that it was located right on the Disneyland grounds. There's nothing better than downing a couple drinks at the bar, hopping on a monorail for a quick ride on the Matterhorn, and then making it back just on time for Sloan to take the stage to unleash rock numbers such as "Gimmie That", "Keep on Thinkin", "Money City Maniacs", "Sensory Deprivation", "False Alarm" and "If It Feels Good Do It"

Wow, Morgan, you sound like Sloan's biggest fan. I wish I was as big of a fan as you. Sloan fans are great. I'm a fan of Sloan, but not like you, their "biggest fan".

You guys were awesome! All that energy you guys played with really sucked me into your set. I know you guys said that the L.A.- House of Blues on Sunset- audience sucked (which makes me glad I couln't go to it and had to opt for Anaheim instead)
but don't be discouraged; we're not all such lousy fans.Please, please, please play more shows in L.A!
Don't deprive us Los Angelaliens of youR live shows cause of THOSE SUNSET PEOPLE. Anyways, to sum up my rambling: you guys are awesome and come play in L.A. SOON!

Just now finally checked out your site.VERY Cool! I was at the show and I have to say you guys were one of the most pleasant surprises ever. I usually hate sitting through the opening bands but you guys thoroughly rocked my world. Obviously you have been doing this a while up in Canada. You've obviously gained a bunch of new fans down here.I'm one. Keep Rockin please. Oh and by the way...Morgan (from an earlier review) please get a hold of yourself! Just because these guys were nice enough to sit and chat doesn't mean you are their favourite. What are you twelve or something? These guys seem like a nice bunch of guys from Canada that know how to rock. Why don't you just say something relevant instead of pretending you know them .
