I just got home early this morning after another fantastic Sloan show at The Kee. As usual, I wasn't dissapointed.... plus, IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY!!! I took my usual place front and center and had the time of my life.
Hope all of you that were there had a good time and thank you again boys for putting on a great show. See you next year!

You guys rock!!!! I had a blast! My friend and I had this inside joke called the four-year prophacy. Basically, it means that when we were 15 we planned out how when we turn 19 we'll go see Sloan at the Kee to Bala and meet the guys after the show! Luckily for us our story is a happy one! We were unsure at first about approahing the band, but then we thought why the hell not, we may never get the chance again ( we so wil......). Anyways, Chris talked to us first he was so cute and friendly, and taller than I expected. I said Underwhelmed was an amazing way to open the show, and that I thought it was the strongest! He was happy to hear that is was our first legal concert. Some other girl was asking him to sing for her........so we slinked away and then we saw Jay! He was so sweet too! Super nice, and sporting some new braces. It might have been rude of me but I brought up the fact that the Lines you Amend had poor sound quality ( upsetting because it's my favourite Jay song!). He said he felt bad about that and said he was sorry, and we were like dude don't be sorry, you rocked!!! Then I think I was a little rude again to poor Jay because I go, hey have you seen Patrick around anywhere? Patrick I love you sooooooo much, your hot and you know how to rock out! Anyways Jay, my saviour, was like awe, you love patrick, I'll go see if I can find him for you. So then out comes Patrick from the bus, and I wasn't calm like with the other guys. I blanked out. I thought to myself what do I say? Well I just sarted babbling. I think I said nice to meet you I'm a big fan, but I very well could have said I want you Now! Well whatever I said didn't freak him out, but I bet when I came at him for a big hug ( it's the girl thing to do to a rock god!!!) he was thinking , oh god not another one! Trying to tone the groupie vibe down I tried desperately to have a conversation with him. We talked about how we both like SNL ( Chris Parnell esspecially) and how we missed the show that night. Then the alcohol started talking boldy asking him how old he was and if he was single to which he replied "Dude, I have a kid"........? I'm still contemplating that one, so is he married or does he have a girlfriend. I guess saying I have a kid means don't get any ideas band-aid! Patrick thank- you so much for getting off that bus, I never dreamed you would. I had this mis-conception that because they were hot and popular and in a band means they would never talk to me ( highschool revisited ) Thanks for letting me take pictures of you on stage, I was in the front row hoping you wouldn't be mad or annoyed. Thanks also for the pics at the bus. Patrick and Chris you made my summer! Jay if I ever see you again I'll apologize for being so forward, I basically ditched you for Patrick. Next time I'll make the other guys go find you and take tons of pictures of you o.k. WOW this shout out has turned into a book. Anyways guys ,thanks for the memories and being kinder than I ever thought a band would be. You guys set the standard for what a kick ass rock band sounds and acts like. I love you Patrick, I think you are amazing. You rock on Losing California, you have the best guitar riff in history I swear to God! You guys are all so hot! You better come back to the Kee next summer, that would be great, if not I'll find you (not a stalker! I swear). Thanks so much for the good bye hug Patrick! Well I've thuroghly done the teenage girl thing so I'll call it quits.

By the way Patrick, who was that guy that tryed taking our picture, who you called " a fuck" ? I hope you knew him!
