Sloan had not played in Columbus in a few years, so it was nice to see them again. I'd say half the set consisted of material from their latest record including The Rest of My Life, False Alarm, & I Was Wrong to name a few. Older songs included The Lines You Amend, The Good In Everyone, People Of The Sky, In The Movies, The Other Man, and If It Feels Good Do It which closed the set. My personal highlight was an awesome version of Money City Maniacs (Andrew's drumming was outstanding). My only disappointment was that the Rhodes was not brought out and that they didn't play a longer set (my first time seeing them in which they didn't headline). The crowd seemed into it thought and hopefully the won some new fans. The little I heard of heard of Jet wasn't that great. If only they would open for Sloan. Maybe I'm asking too much?

Wow!! the guys were in top form and the mix was way excellent. Chris was out the merchandise table after the show, and was really cool to all the Sloan fans, as well as the "new" converts. I am a Jet fan as well, but there was no comparison. Sloan ruled!! I can't wait for them to come through Columbus as a headliner.

Awesome job Sloan! I actually came to the concert as a Jet fan and left a Sloan fan as well. They rocked that stage the whole time. The band had an awesome all around sound. The drums were sooo sweet as well as the vocals, guitarist and basist...! I just wanted to thank Sloan for such as awesome show and even though I never heard not one of their songs prior to the concert, I was having a blast listening to them. They are genius!

wow. amazing. i wrote a comment earlier, but i guess i posted it under the wrong one because it isnt in here. i never heard of sloan before the concert and now thats all i hear. i went out n bought there cds. i madly in love. the show was amazing. they did wonderful up there. n they're so garsh darn cute. going into a concert being a jet fan and then leaving with two new favorite bands is wonderful:) thanks sloan. u rock

Sloan is so awesome. They should totally come back and do a show on their own. I mean it has been a whole week since I saw them play but the show was very memorable. I was really upset that I hadn't heard of them before...and I know their single right now like really well. (im singing it right now) I can't say what I like in particular about their performance because I don't play an instrument so I don't know if anything was particularily exceptional (like drumming or guitar) but I can say that they did an awesome awesome awesome show and played extremely well. I was also very upset that I didn't get to meet the band because that's what I was thinking about during the Jet concert...and they seemed really nice and funny and all that...We were in the wrong place at the wrong time....We got to meet Jet though.....but I'm totally sure that's not the last concert that they'll have. but anyway PLEASE COME BACK TO COLUMBUS! I MISS YOU ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ~Love Brittany~

My Wife and I went to this show to see Jet, I was not familiar with Sloan. They Rocked ! What a great set ! I went out the next day and got Action Pact, and it's a great CD. I really was kind of dissapointed in Jet and think Sloan really should be the headliner. I'm glad I went to the show and got hipped to another good Canadian band, I look forward to seeing them again ! Unfortunately here is another good band that Columbus Radio is missing, do we really need to hear Nickelback 24/7 ?

I went to the show as a Sloan fan. I've loved Sloan since I saw the video for "The Good in Everyone". On Mtv's 120 minutes. Chris is one of the greatest bassist I've seen, and I saw Mike Watt play with Firehose. I wish Andrew could have done some writting on the new album. I like all the different kinds of songs that Sloan can write. I have most of their CD's, and I'm glad I finally got to see them. Great show guys, I will go to every show I can. I'm going to the Indianapolis show on Monday. Can't wait. Yeah!
