Once again, Sloan rocked the house. I heard complaints about them being a little loose and sloppy the past few nights......well, not this night! Busted out a few gems.....C'mon C'mon ..man, that was great.......as was Penpals........I finally got C-bass his KISS shirt.......enjoy it Chris! Sorry, all they had was LARGE....no mediums left. Can't wait to see 'em again and again......good job lads!
Scorching display of rock greatness. My ears are damaged, but I have but a little regret. Thanks for Chris and Jay for making the rounds after the show. The coup was getting Chris to sign my cd and finally getting to hear those bonus tracks. Awesome stuff. Scorching even. Like I said.
yes, that Troubadour show was worth the 6+ hr. drive... c'mon c'mon and penpals were just what i needed to hear. everything about that show was just dandy. a handful of crazy leg kicks, great setlist (it is posted in livejournal.com, btw)...my fave LA rocker jason falkner was there too. overall it was a solid show and any evidence of sloppiness was overshadowed by the ~Rock und Roll-ness~ of the evening. sensory deprivation was not as epic as it was @ Spaceland, but it was WELL worth the wait. chris put his foot into my lens once, apparently trying to get my attention. then he used my shoulder as a guitar pedal at some point in the first 2 songs. my black shirt still has his shoe print on it. what a souvenier. me so happy :-D
july is too far away!!!!!
Great show! As a long time fan, it was fantastic to finally see them live. They sounded wonderful live, and it was a great sampling of songs. The "G to D" encore was easily one of the highlights for me, along with some rocking Patrick songs from Action Pact. Thanks guys!
