Great show! Pretty much a full-house and a great crowd! I'm trying to cob together a set-list/order right now. Anyone have it down?

Come back soon!

Amazing Show!!! I've seen loads of Sloan shows but this has been the best so far. Maybe because we were touching the stage, maybe because Sloan just rocks!!!

Anyways, after the show my wife pulled the set list off the stage and we were able to track down Chris and Andrew for signatures. Super nice guys, Thanks.

Anyways, here's the list they had on the sheet:

Ready For You
Live On
The Rest of My Life
Lines You Amend
Hollow Head
Nothing Lasts Forever
The Great Wall
People of the Sky
Backstabbin
Coax Me
False Alarm
I Was Wrong
Penpals
Good In Everyone
Sensory Deprivation
Step On It Jean
The Other Man
Money City Maniacs
Gimme That
Feels Good Do It
*Chester the Molester (I don't remember exactly where they played this but it was during the encore)

As you can see, it was an awesome set, Thanks guys for playing some old favs, like People of the Sky and Coax Me.

My wife was a little disappointed for not hearing Underwhelmed but its not like we haven't heard it before.

We're looking forward to the show in August in TO with Sam Roberts, Contsantines etc.

SLOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAN

Fantastic show guys ! I was really hoping to hear "Underwhelmed", ( and "Everything you've done wrong" with a surprise horn section woulda been cool ) but you played almost everything else a guy could ask for. Thanks for a great evening. Hope you come back to Buffalo soon. Tell "the Kicks" to come back also, as they put on a fantastic show aswell...

The show was great. I hadn't seen Sloan since the Pretty Together tour, so it was a lot of fun seeing them again. I liked the "light show." It was simple, but effective. I had to leave before the encore, unfortunately. Anybody know what they played?

The encores were Chester the Molester, I Am the Cancer (Chris told the audience something like, "That's from our first album in case you don't know it..."), and If It Feels Good Do It. Amazing show -- I didn't want it to end!

Great Show! Second time seeing Sloan (first was at Sunday Rock Chippewa) and they really rocked out last night. I took some pictures and hope they turned out okay, so I'll post them if they are good. Already looking forward to the next time they'll be in Buffalo.

Sloan rocked last night! It was the first Sloan show myself and my friend have ever been to, and it was more than we expected. We travelled from Mississauga, Ontario just to see them. The Kicks put up a great opening act, although, since I was really close (to the right of Chris at the front) it was really loud. When Sloan came out the crowd went wild doing the "Sloan chant". The band performed many of their old songs as well their Action Pact songs, so I was excited about that. They also performed "Step On It, Jean", which was great! After the show, my friend and I got a hold of Jay's set list (which I got to keep since it was my birthday) and went to get some more merch. We came back to the stage area to see Chris and Patrick talking with a few people. Of course, we greeted Chris and he signed my "Step on it, Jean" and "Dirty Nails" 7" vinyl. As well, my friend and I got a picture with him. He's such a nice guy! Thanks for the compliment, Chris! Then I got my vinyl signed by Patrick and got a picture with him too. We stuck around a little longer because we were looking for Jay. Patrick tried to find him for us, but no one knew where he was (Sorry to have bothered you, Patrick). We were hoping to say hi to him again since we met up with on Oueen St. in Toronto a little while back. Even if we didn't get to say hi to Jay, we still had a pretty good time.

Oh, and Roze, I remember you! It was awesome that Chris signed your Smeared LP right after "If It Feels Good Do It". You were standing right beside my friend, who was next to me.

What a great show! This was my first time seeing Sloan in concert, and they certainly did not disappoint. My friend and I were the first ones there, and were right up against the stage. I managed to get some great shots of the boys, though I feel bad for getting so few of Patrick, due to how far away he was from me. Chris was a real sweetheart, as was Pat, who tried to help us find Jay after the show. My friend and I met Jay on Queen Street in February, and I was dying to get a picture with him. Jay smiled and laughed at me and my friend a few times while on stage (we were singing along to almost every song, including "Step on it, Jean"), but I very much doubt he remembered us. Sadly, no one had seen him, but I'm sure I'll see him again.

hey, sloan rocked as so many of you have already said...i took a boatload of pics from the side of the stage...they turned out great! i will post them as soon as i get them scanned.

sloan's set rocked.i picked up a copy of action pact the morning of the show.the disc sounded great but live they sounded ten times better.maybe it is time for a live sloan cd.hope to see them in buffalo again asap.

You guys played sloppy and it felt like you didn't really want to be there. Hey Jay, mocking the Goos (although correct) is no way to win fans. Better luck next time.

Sloan rocks! I have seen them many times and despite the technical problems Jay was having the show was awesome. My husband and I got to hang out with the guys after the show. We took pix and got our Action Pact liners signed by everyone but Jay.

Chris is amazing! I wish I could take him home with me but I'm sure my husband wouldn't appreciate it. But he didn't mind that Chris gave me lots of hugs and kisses. That made my night!

See you guys soon! Sloan rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kevin, are you serious?! If they didn't want to be there they would have blown through the set, or not come at all ! I'm sure they won't dis Buffalo like they did Memphis and Atlanta(?)! It was a great gig and the sound was tight. Good crowd but I thought Buffalo could have packed the place.

i enjoyed the show very much, though the noise was too much...i was let down that they played practically all of action pact because the best sloan songs come from twice removed, one chord and navy blues...but seeing as how i was right in front of chris for the my second sloan show in a row, and he remembered me from before, i cant complain too much...it was just great being in the same room as the rockinest band in the world! and i want to thank my boyfriend for feeling awkward and out of place right up front with me...

....Thanks so much for remembering to stop in Buffalo (well, almost Buffalo), that made my month.....but you know, next time you guys come by, don't ever play that venue again, please, for your fans.....please come downtown, I promise you WILL pack the place and all your rockin no-car-havin fans will be there....
....you are all sweetheart for coming, thanks.....

My second Sloan-live experience and a good show. However I thought the PA sound was not very good. It was too loud, boomy, and mushy, I couldn't make out what was being played. I moved around the room but it was the same everywhere. I think they were just pushing the levels too much for the room, which is just a big box. Admittdely though, it's tough to get good sound under such conditions. Just turn it down a little, nobody will notice, it's all relative. Be clear, be distinct, I want to hear the harmony's. You guys got-it-goin' on with that stuff, let it shine.

Great night, wish I could have said more than "Sorry, I'm not from around here...I can't go." to the girls that handed me a flier for their all-girl-bands new CD "Beyond Obvious". They were cute,...But I REALLY couldn't go, but cause I'm really not from around there anymore. I was just in town visiting friends. I wish I could make small talk...sigh.

And by the way, everyone mocks the Goo's. When nobody knew who they were and the played at the "Whiskey-whatever-it-was" people would just scream "YOU SUCK" when they hit the stage. Who could forget that? People from buffalo just get upset because they're "hometown", not because they actually like thier "musi-ak". And when they hit it big, they split big time. You think they're all gonna settle down in Buffalo someday? Ha, fat chance, fame was their ticket out of "nowhere-s-ville". But they'll smile, tell you "its great to be back home", and take your money just the same thank-you very much. Ha! Suckers....
