I'd just like to say that Sloan does infact, put on a great live show. Tonight was a great night. Money City Maniacs and She says What she means were two highlights in my eyes. What's too bad is that Glace Bay, or anywhere in Cape Breton for that matter, can't give this band what they deserve. I was really dissapointed with our crowd, rarely cheering (not exactly true, but it could have been better) and many a folk sitting down. I think you would actually be better off playing at a local, more underground show around here. That still couldn't get me down however, because the performance was incredible. The switch-ups and many an extra solo, and experimenting. It was all awesome. I was talking to Patrick and he mentioned that you fellas ate at Rita's tea room. Thats too bad! haha you really should stop at Mother Webbs on your way out of Nova Scotia. It's excellent, and incredibly fast! So thanks for stopping by Cape Breton, and good luck with the rest of your travels. Hopefully you'll come back, and the crowd situation will be changed drastically by then. lol

Absolutely Excellent Show! Great Stage antics, great setlist. Plus, My request (Deeper Than Beauty) was played! The part where the kid came and played drums was great too. Come Back Soon Guys!
Thankyou for all those classic tunes over the years! We couldn't have dreamt of a better show last night. False Alarm! whoa, so cool. Thanks for coming to CapeBreton, it's been so long ;)
The show was awesome. I wish more bands like Sloan would come out to CB. If you didn't go see them you better have a doctor's note.
Great show~! Did an awesome job playingg live, one of the best bands out there~~ I've been in love with the band for quite a time noww, been waiting to seem them for a whilee. Soooo gladd they came here, definitely worth the 25$ if not more:P Rock Ranger did an excellent job opening up for Sloan, wickett job!!:) You guys were soo nicee.. friendliest people everr.. glad to meet ya's :) Can't wait to see you all againn, hopefully you'll have a show in Cape Breton again!!! Nicest band ever, you's rockk!!! xo~
Patrick, Chris, Andrew, Jay, Mike- thanks so much for coming so far out of the way to play here. Although I've seen some great shows in the past (the Kee shows in Bala, the Centre Island show, etc.) I was happy to see you get the crowd pumped. It was tough, and I think the response was due to a complete lack of variety in the acts we get here. The Savoy is a great venue, however, and I think it sounded pretty good.
Thanks for Deeper than Beauty - I've waited six years to hear it live again! It was nice to meet you all - some for the first time - and I hope to get some decent pictures posted here soon (I was the girl with the camera off from Patrick).
Hope to see you next year on my travels....thanks for inspiring me!
That show was a highlight of my life! The setlist was amazing, especially all the classics. You guys deserved a better crowd, one who realizes it's better to be down in the front row dancing your ass off rather than sitting down. Nevertheless, I had an amazing time, loved singing along and had a great time seeing/talking with you after. You guys are nice and I hope you come back to CB real soon!
it was awesome, hadn't seen you guys in awhile--especially liked 'deeper than beauty' and 'lines you amend'--i saw jay at tim's beforehand and wished i had said hello, you seem like you would be a neat person to have met--oh well theres always a next time!! good job
What an AWESOME show. More bands like Sloan should come to CB... come back soon, guys!
