u guys rocked that was the best show ive ever seen

Great show in Stratford! The only problem of the evening was the stage was directly in front of the blazing sun, obscuring much of the onstage antics of our favourite rock combo ever. From the sounds of things after the show, Sloan definately won over some new fans tonight! Thanks for coming to SW Ontario again guys, hope to see you soon!

Your show was absolutely great! I loved the fact you have so many hit songs and the crowd was unbelievable. Frontier Index was also great, first time I heard them. Don't know if you guys heard them at all, but a tour with them, would be incredible. Great show again!

What a fabulous time we had at the show, You were as fun as usual to see, and of all the things, i actually loved seeing you play while the sun was setting behind the stage, two of my most favourite things to enjoy ! THANK YOU~ SLOAN! AND SLOANIES ,SO VERY MUCH, FOR COMMING TO STRATFORD, GOOD TIME FOR SURE! ( it was extra cool bumping into Chris at the 7-11, although I didn't get a chance to say welcome to Stratford, hopefully you guys had a nice time too!)

I think you guys are awesome and love your albums. You put on an awesome show, but I just wish I had been able to watch it! Hopefully I can see you play again soon somewhere a little more dignified and respectful of what is actually happening on stage. This was the first time I've seen you live and it left me a little unfulfilled. But, fear not, it wasn't your fault!!!! Thanks for coming to Stratford dudes.

1) You should have had higher billing!! And a show after dark!!<p>
2) I think it would have been phenomenal if you and BNL had played the same night. Much more appropriate to have the fun bands together...<p>
3) I was only there to see you guys. I love you that much.<p>
4) NEVER feel that you have to tell the audience the words. You are SLOAN!! WE KNOW THEM!<p>
5) I don't know if you heard it backstage, but the crowd was chanting Sloooooooooaaaaaaaaan in between Finger 11 and OLP's sets. That was rockin.<p>

great show! it kind of sucked that you came on as early as you did. i talked to a handfull of people who came just to see you guys and missed out. better luck next year i guess....you've got the singles album out so when does the live album get released?!

We went to the show in Stratford. It was amazing, as usual! But why do people continually insist on surfing at your shows? It is so distracting! i'm there to see the band, not to haul people around on my shoulders. The little girl who came out to sing on "Underwhelmed" was sooo cute but why did you get her to sing the "affection" line? I'm sure the pedophiles loved that! And Jay seems a bit off these days. He threw the water bottle at the Rogers Rocks show and he seemed to have issues about playing a certain song at the Ovation show. Hope he can work things out! All in all, excellent! We went to see Sloan but I think Hedley got 2 more fans too. We saw Patrick checking them out as well. A Hedley / Sloan tour? Amazing!! Love you guys!!

Agree to the max like a champion with the comments Misty made. I couldn't believe it when you were telling us the words to your songs - WE KNOW THE WORDS! You shoulda gone harder with the oldschool songs, though, guys! The new stuff is fun too, but dudes! Oldschool! All I wanted to hear is Snowsuit Sound...next time you're in Ontario, you gotta hook me up.

I also agree with Misty on the playing more Ontario shows. Especially Kitchener/Waterloo. I had to miss you when you played the Starlight in April...so come back! PLEASE! Play my school...play the Starlight...Hell, play my apartment! You guys rock my socks.

yeah, so i'm from cleveland. stopped in buffalo to see a friend, and then up to stratford...just to see sloan! my favorite band! my car started to have some troubles...so we got there..LATE. i think we saw two of your songs from the audience and two in the parking lot. probably the most disappointed moment of my life. who in the hell wants to see our lady peace?? so in other words, please god come back to cleveland. i prefer driving 10 minutes instead of HOURS. pshhhh..i love you guys though. shoulda been the top headliner..

I was one of those people who missed the show -- arriving just after Sloan left the stage. My friend and I had traveled FAR for this show (me from Florida and she from New Jersey) and even with all the planning we put into it, we still got lost because of no directions or signs and still missed the show even though we thought we were arriving early enough that Sloan wouldn't have gone on yet. Then we had to deal with one of the event organizers screaming at us when we asked to speak to a band member or manager or get our money back because of their poor excuse for organization. Worst night ever.

let me say first of all, this night of the festival was absolutely the best show i have ever seen!
sloan was great, and i had never actually seen one of their shows before but had always enjoyed their music. i was truly floored by how great they were on stage - naturally great performers. and when they brought the little girl on stage to help them sing the song it was so adorable.
if every sloan show is as great as this one, i would see them a million times over...
