This was probably my favourite Sloan show, if only for the free pizza and refreshments during controller.controller's set. It was a fun, loose show that featured most of the songs on "A-Sides Win". Although, it was great to hear "False Alarm" and "Coax Me".

Thanks a lot Sloan and to U of T for not having any security around to kick non-students like me out ;)
It was indeed an awesome show. Congrats
whicked show, only if we didnt have to thank sponsors so many times and take swee time setting up. if any of you stuck around u'd see a small van and band jammin outta there after the concert which was cool.
sloan put out a great show, i was also impressed with bass players drum skills and lead guitar's solos.
cheers,
-dmitri.
wow this show was such a treat, such a great way to start the school year. sloan was really enthusiastic and laid back in their performance at the same time. i appreciated the cheesy hornet jokes as well :) and got some great pics after the show. thanks so much for coming to u of t, i'm going to catch the show in guelph as well!
Awesome show! As usual! Surprisingly well behaved crowd, for a university/outdoor/free show.
Will the Hornet be going on tour with you? I think he/she had stellar stage presence!!
Chris, pink is your colour.
What a fantastic secret not-so-secret students-only show! A perfect way to end a workweek (err, I mean study week?).
I have to commend the audience at this show for being such a respectful, fun crowd. I saw only one instance of crowd surfing, the student-organizers were happily passing out cups of water to combat the scorching sun, & folks were singing along with gusto. And you could tell the band appreciated it – it’s been a long time since I’ve seen them having so much obvious goofy fun on stage. And that is an absolute joy to shoot.
Another Toronto show soon please, and I'll be there to stick my lens in your face Chris (admit it, you can't lick the mic stand properly without it).
It was a blast, plain & simple.

Great concert ! This is the second time I've seen Sloan and they definitely know how to rock! I saw a gig in Waterloo, Ontario back in April where they played "All Used Up" for one of the first times and now its sounding much more polished and proving to be another solid single. I think one of the better songs performed of the afternoon was "False Alarm." I wasn't a huge fan of the album version but hearing it live was quite an experience. Andrew's "Sensory Deprivation" also stood out as one of the better tunes of the day. I hope to see you guys again sometime soon!
I got to attend this show and it's probably one of my favourite shows by any band. I took loads of pictures and such and posted them on my lj,
