Sloan

We arrived very early for the concert , had a great dinner at a local spot "The Harp " and went to our seats . I had never heard of Sloan so prior to the show( I'm 50 years old ) I had purchased 2 cds and found them to be a likeable pop band . While I enjoyed the bands attempt to please the crowd I commented to my buddy about what a tough job it must be to be an opening act . The band seemed to enjoy themselves and hopefully one day they can recall the nights they opened for "The World's Greatest Rock And Roll Band " . Our best highlight of the night was yet to come though an usher or roadie who came up our aisle in the balcony in the very last row and asked us how many in our party , then proceeded to hand us 2 tickets to the VIP section which I assume were not asked for or went unsold . It was f*cking great !!! 20 rows from the stage . This was my 4 th show of the tour and probably the best I had seen . The outdoor shows with the fantastic stage were awesome , but nothing beats the Stones in "The Garden " ...
