I work security for the show... Awsome show will go back next time they come for sure...

seriously, so wonderful. as usual.
even after 2 hours, i was not ready for the show to be over.
so so good.
so good.
SO good.
i want to go again.

Well it sure was nice to see Sloan again, they sounded great ,especially with Greg accompanying a very welcome addition to the Sloan line-up. Way to go Greg! I was happy I had the cd shortly after it came out, knowing the songs made it a lot more fun. They all looked really good, but I was pretty far back and I'm pretty short so I really didn't SEE a whole lot. Actually I left thinking how nice it'd be if they did a show at the Winspear or something like that.So I really like "Love is all Around"and "Another Way I Could Do It",especially the ending,"Ill Placed Trust" of course and all of Jays' songs. If there is another single I'm hoping for "Love is all Around" ,it'd be nice to hear Andrew on the radio! There, that's what I would have said if I'd have stuck around after. I had thought I might but I worked 12 hours that day so I was too burned out from my Superwoman routine(stupid),next time I'll give work a rest and try to show up for the opening act AND stay till the end. Come back soon! Love is all around and so it should be. Deanne H.

c'etait un excellent concert, inconnu jusque là, je vais bien devoir commencer a me procurer les cds!!
Merci pour ce moment genial, je reviendrai!

Better late leaving my comments than never leaving my comments right?

This was my 8th time seeing Sloan live, and it was my favorite yet. I went to the Calgary show the preceeding week and the Dinwoodie show blew it out of the water. The sound at Whisky was just not right, but thats neither here, nor there.

I loved all the new album stuff, and all the old stuff, but this is the first time in a while I wasnt wishing for something older, the new energy in the new album is excellent, and its a great addition to the already amazing Sloan discography. As I have always felt since the first time I heard it live, my favorite song played was definitely If It Feels Good Do It, and the fact that they closed the show off with it was a GREAT decision, I always hoped youd start doing that. Another awesome addition to the setlist was starting out with Flyin High Again and WTYTLLT, I was hoping going in that that would be the case.

Again, it was the best Sloan show Ive ever witnessed, awesome performance, amazing energy, and inspiration to anyone with any musical ambition. Im also glad that these Edmonton and Calgary shows were the first shows my girlfriend has been to of yours, she absolutely LOVES you, Im almost jealous :)

P.S. We were the couple with the custom t-shirts. She wore "I much prefer the cake" and I wore "Andy Sabola"

P.P.S Will my favorite Sloan song, Marquee and the Moon, ever be played live? Id love to hear it, maybe next time?

Thanks Sloan, I cant wait until the next time we get to see you, keep on doin what youre doin.

I am Andy Sabolas son yes really, used to play those drums when I was a kid, always wished he kept them but he got a lot of fun out of Sloan using them as he was old and couldnt play anymore he passed away in 2002 after a long musical career. Cool you wore a shirt with his name on it.
