Wow, what an awesome show. You guys sang the best 5 songs you had, but it did not seem that the show went on long enough for you guys? Oh well, made a great opening act for the Rolling Stones.

Great set guys! You did very well opening for the Stones. Only about a half hour set, but it was great fun.
Setlist:

The Other Man
The Good in Everyone
Something's Wrong
I've Gotta Try
Blackout
Flying High Again
Who Taught You to Live Like That
The Rest of My Life
If it Feels Good Do It
I was happy that Jay aknowledged me by pointing to me when I was singing along, and requesting "Can't YouFigure it Out". So much fun. So much rain. SLLLOOOOAAAAAANNNN!
Fantastic show guys. Wish you could have played longer!
Great to see you all back in Halifax. Can't wait for the new album to drop.
Do us a favour and come back for a longer show.

I was at the Seahorse on saturday night and you guys were great. What was the name of the other band that played with you and where can i buy their CD. They were cookin'.
Excellent Show!!
This was my first time seeing Sloan. I had heard some of their songs on my son's stereo but I
never knew who was singing them. Now I know and
I will be seeking some CD's of my own, or borrowing my son's for a bit.
Keep up the good work guys.
I don't even like Sloan that much but this was one sick concert.
Sweeeet. Lovin the new music, can't wait for the cd to come out boys
I didn't know who you were until the Stones Concert.... well I am hooked now.... I love your music.... you have a sound all of your own and I think it is AWESOME... I have already been out and looking for your music...... a fan from now on.... Also was wondering when you will be back in Halifax.....
Slaon rocked as usual. Even in the rain they put on a great show! It's too bad these home town guys only played for a half hour I would have preferred to listen to them over Alice Cooper and Kanye West. (the following acts) They were the whole reason I showed up so early for this show. I thought they were a great choice to open for the Stones.
Okay, the Commons show was decent from the hill in front of Tony's Donairs. 2 of three big TV screens were on and good sound. Nice song -mix new and old- while the massess were still pretty dry...
...but later that night at the Seahorse was a real blast - unbelievable. Tonnes of new songs. Guys looked like they were having fun. Fan on stage singing Losing California (but not Nikki from You Tube). A truckload of wicked covers and an on stage carousel as members of Yoko Casionos and others joined in, at times with lyric sheets(!) for:
Jumpin Jack Flash (Rolling Sloans)
Roll Over Beethoven (C. Berry)
Don't Bring Me Down (ELO)
Go Your Own Way (Fleetwood Mac)
Dreams (Fleetwood Mac)
These Eyes (Guess Who)
Don't Let Me Down (Beatles)
Starting Over (Lennon)
Suffragette City (Bowie)
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (AC/DC)
& others I can't remember...
& of course lots of originals and a sizzling Y.C. cover of I Was Wrong.
Mayhem. Spontaneity. Real R'n'R. Someone get Patrick another Corona!!
PS: Y.C.'s opening set was great.
all i can say is it was the best rain day ever, you guys rocked and i LOVE the new stuff!
Wicked set, the boys really gave it their all in front of their biggest crowd ever and played some new stuff, which was cool. Would have been even better if they had turned up the volume (and played "Losing California!"). Sloan, we need you back for a full-length show and to hear "500 Up" which may have been the only single not played last year at the Dal show.
Does anyone have a photo of when that fan got up and sang with the boys at the Seahorse? I really need to get a shot of her singing with them as a surprise for her.
If you have a photo of that epic moment at the Seahorse with my friend on stage singing, please e-mail me.
Thanks in advance, and Sloan, "Wow great show, and Hali misses you boys!"
I paid for the ticket just to see Sloan. It was awesome to see you guys again (Savoy, Glace Bay, NS Nov 04). I wish you had played a longer set! So impressive! I'll never forgive my sister for introducing me to you.
Thanks!
