Best Sloan show I've been to--The guys were fucking on, and they played Flying High Again, Marquee and the Moon, and my all-time favorite song, Deeper Than Beauty.

Ears are still ringing but at least now I can die happy.

What a great time! Missed you opening for Rolling Stones, but at least got to listen while we walked to the Commons. Saw you on Friday night at the Marquee Club in Halifax and I can't wait to see the band perform again. My 2 sons are getting to know your music as well and can sing along with some of the songs. If you were playing at a venue besides a bar, I would definately bring them to see you so that they can appreciate your music as much as I do. I'm a "late bloomer" when it comes to Sloan, however, I intend to make up for lost time. Thanks for the great performance. Debbie Hamilton

Even though we've been fans for years, this is the first time my wife and I have seen Sloan live. We were expecting a great show and we weren't disappointed. The band was on, the sound was great, the fans were into the show! Loved seeing the guys change instruments throughout the show... it was cool to see that they played each with ease.

Hope you all come back home to Halifax soon... we'll be there!

Best Sloan show I've seen - would've been perfect if they'd played "Underwhelmed." The new stuff was awesome and "Everything You've Done Wrong" with the keyboards in place of the horns was cool. Great to see lots of Jay and Andrew's songs as well!

Fantastic show! I had a great time and it looked like Sloan did too. Highlights were Chris' friend from the Halifax-Dartmouth Ferries jumping onstage to duet with Chris on Roll Over Beethoven, Marquee & the Moon, and Patrick's father on the keys.

Great show in an intimate setting. The band was tight and four part harmonies kicked ass! Introduced me to the new material, which is excellent and also showed the younger crowd great songs from albums we missed the first time around. People of the sky is my new favorite! Also, Jay, it's obvious the "Junior Panthers" are really the "Bengal Lancers". South End for life!

Having just arrived in Halifax on 3rd August 2007 on our 4 month overseas trip, we just checked into the Halifax Backpackers that afternoon & the buzz on the street was SLOAN is in town. Now for 2 Aussie blokes who just arrived in Canada for the first time, me & my mate (both muso's) looked at each other & said "who the fuck is Sloan"! So with that in mind we thought "fuck it" lets check em out, they're only a block away. So as night fell we both made our way to the Marquee Club & and i gotta say at a glance this place was packed, & we had no idea what we were in for. As the band hit the stage the crowd went off & this place was rockin. Although we had no idea where we were & who this band was, by the end of the night Sloan had us won, very entertaining! I also believe Mike Smith (Bubbles) was there too, who i'd just seen perform with Guns N Roses back home just 6 weeks earlier, what a small world! Anytime you guys are making you way back to Oz, Melbourne, we'll certainly be there to give our support. Thanks boys for making Halifax an unforgettable night!
