Amazing set, it was really awesome. Loved anyone who's anyone..didn't expect that one to be played.... I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again for sure!
great job guys! I had a ton of fun! it was really cool to have all the sloan superfans up front. cheers guys, awesome show
Awesome show! I started freaking out when Anyone Who's Anyone started, I was singing so off key =D I was so happy you guys played She Says What She Means as well!
Whoever threw the CD case on stage, real smart.
Where are the pictures or the reviews for this show? I am so happy that the rain stopped falling just in time for the show. Trust me I was peering at the dark clouds outside my window for hours... wondering if I should risk it and hit the subway in time for the show. Alas - I stayed home. However, I bet it was a great one!
Cheers enjoy the rest and relaxation Sloan!
Saw the lads for the fourth time this tour and you could tell that they were at nearing the end of the road for this particular batch of tunes. When I say that, I mean that the tunes were polished, the band hit all the right notes at the right time and the atmosphere was simply more relaxed. They've impressed everybody they needed to and tonight's gig was just to play. There was some great Chris/Patrick interplay, too, particularly during HFXNSHC.
Some lesser-heards included She Says What She Means, Anyone Who's Anyone, Ready For You. It was great to hear SSWSM again! Andrew made up for lost time after singing pretty much every tune of his from NHTEOI, plus People Of The Sky is always appreciated to these ears.
All-in-all, a great gig from the lads, and it left me wondering if they just hopped the Dufferin bus home afterwards.
