It was a gorgeous day for an outdoor party. I assumed that this was an invite-only party so thanks to Mike, I was on the list to get in. I arrive at the party and there was no one with a guest list so I only had to show my ID. Sometimes with day parties, most of the crowd is just there for the free drinks, food, and swag. But the crowd there actually was excited for the band to play. The party was a fantastic burst of needed energy for the late afternoon. Afterwards, I stuck around to say hello and briefly talked to Jay, Chris, and Andrew. Maybe next time I'll have some worthy badges to trade with you, Chris ;-).
