Awesome show. Been listening to you guys for years, but this is the first time you've played anywhere in my vicinity. Thanks for a great concert and for throwing in "Coax Me." T'was great to hear one of my favourite songs of yours live. Will upload pictures a bit later. Have a bunch of varying degrees of fuzziness and bad lighting.
Unbelievable show for a packed house on a Wednesday night. I'm still kicking myself for missing the last Sloan show in 2007 and I appreciate the email alert for this show. They had more energy than most of their shows I've been too and it looked like the band was having a lot of fun playing the great new songs. I didn't think it was possible, but you guys may have bested the other albums.
Does anyone have a set list? A friend I brought who was a non-Sloan fan liked a lot of the songs but only remembers what number in the queue they were played.
Great show at TTs! My favorite part was when that handsome male audience member gamely tried to sing "The Lines You Amend" whilst wearing Murphy's somewhat sweaty glasses.
i'd been waiting to see Sloan live for many years (as where i live is a bit too far south of the border) when i found out i would be in Boston for this date. it lived up. they really appeared to be enjoying themselves and made the set list feel like a piece-of-cake rehearsal. both the instrument rotation (which i'd heard was a part of their show) and their willingness to sing harmony behind a guest vocalist from the audience in the encore/request set made the show even more enjoyable. please come to Memphis.

Another awesome show in Cambridge for Sloan! The new sounds absolutely fantastic live and their merch stand is masquerading as a makeshift radio station called MRCH. It is actually a very amusing bit that kills dead time between bands and when the singers are changing. Jay didn’t seem all that happy but his songs sounded great. Witch’s wand was fantastic live! And who you talkin to was a great surprise. I actually split after the other man (1230 on a wed night!) the show was awesome but I had to work. Ive heard them end shows with TOM in the past. Anyway, if you have the actual setlist, please send it to me
what a night!
i was the guest vocalist on I Can Feel It....and i'm still in shock! if anyone has any pics from this night i'd love to see them.
Great show! I’m not a kid anymore either, but Sloan keeps me young. And I even made it to work the next day, still half-deaf and hoarse from screaming! Saw these guys at TT’s a few years back and they were, if possible, ten times better this time, looked like they were having so much fun, and as always, as easy on the eyes as the ears! Last time I saw Sloan was opening for the Stones at the Garden – or I think it was them, they were so far away. Nice change to be up front in an intimate venue and almost close enough to touch them (or at least that’s how it goes in my perverted fantasies)! Special thanks for G Turns To D, one of my faves and not often played. Come back to Boston soon!!
Great show at TT's! I got a chance to interview Chris Murphy before the show. You can hear it this Friday night (June 27, 2008) on WRTC in Hartford, CT (89.3) at 9:00 PM. Tune in via the internet at WRTCFM.COM (hint: the slower speed connections work better!). Sloan fans are the best! Thanks for coming down to see us guys....
