as usual a spectacular show but i hope jay is ok he seemed under the weather although his vocals were great...going again tonight should be even better...not crazy about skip lowe the mrch light effects were annoying...and i love my new bag! see you tonight!
REDEMPTION!!! The Sloan boys seemed a bit out of sorts in Philly, but they came correct at NYC's beautiful Bowery Ballroom. Great song selection. Great energy. Great vibe. Thanks for diving into the vault (lots of tasty selections from Between The Bridges). I'm Not A Kid Anymore is an instant Murph classic. Guys. You MUST make a return trip in the Fall.
ps. Anyone grab a setlist? Please post.
Words can’t express how amazing this show was. They guys were playing so good it was like they melded into one person. They were rocking hard and they knew it too. Patrick was soaking up the crowd’s energy and encouraging us to give him even more. Chris was doing all his signature moves, minus the jump kicks, climbing onto the speaker stacks and running all over stage. Pulling some classics out of their bottomless repertoire. I was so pumped I can’t even remember the set list. Can anyone post it please?
AMAZING!

She Says What She Means was added as a bonus, and Chris sang it without his bass, jumping around and such. (He was climbing around on the MRCH booth for "The Good In Everyone.")
A lot of Between The Bridges songs!
I have nothing to really add that hasn't already been said. Sloan were in top form at the Ballroom, which is my favorite venue to see our boy's play. Got right up front, took some great pictures that I hope to post soon, and turned on three more people to Sloan who had never heard them before. Why not drag them to a concert instead of playing a cd?
Definatly one of the BEST Sloan shows I've ever been to! It just keeps getting better and better! I never think they could possibly top the last time, but they always manage to do so.
So much great energy and playfulness that night. I rather enjoyed MRCH radio to and Kevin was super nice.
Talked to the Sloan boys after the show (except Patrick who never came out. :( ) and they were as sweet and kind as usual.
I'm so glad Sloan is my favorite band <3
Melissa :)
What a great show! "The Dogs" was especially amazing - fantastic psychedelic freak out! And thanks, guys, for all of the songs from "Between the Bridges." Come back soon!
Wow, what more could you want from a show? They were rockin' all night, and then Patrick asked me and my friends what we wanted to hear during the encore. We requested She Says What She Means but Chris said he couldn't do it (I think he was losing his voice) and while we were debating another song (there's so many!) Chris hands off his bass to Greg and and they go for the song anyway! Next thing you know, Chris is towering over us standing on a pile of equipment off the side of the stage and everyone is freaking out. Good times. Chris even jumped off stage afterwards to meet us. What a guy! What a great show! Can't wait to see them again.
Only thing keeping in from being a perfect show was the lack of 'chester the molester' -- the crowd was BEGGING for it! CHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
