Sloan

My only dissapointments with the show had nothing to do with the band but everything to do with the show's organization. I was misinformed that Sloan would be on second (which makes sense because they are a way bigger band than K-os). It was a good thing I showed up early or I would have missed the band I wanted to see! It seemed like it took the guys a bit before they got really into the show which is understandable because they were playing to k-os fans (at points I thought I was the only Sloan fan there!) I'm not sure why they had you guys play together; it wasn't a very good fit. After Sloan I tried to stick around to see what this fuss was over K-os but I just couldn't do it. Not trying to offend his fans.

Anyways on to the actual show. This was my first time seeing Sloan in about 3 years and they did not dissapoint. My highlights were penpals (was very surprised/happy to hear), the lines you amend, I'm not a kid anymore, g turns to d, ill placed trust, losing california and the song played right after HFXNSCH (does anyone know what that was? It really rocked). I tried to get the old Slooooooooaaaaan chant going but it was really hard in a group of K-os fans! The only things that would have made the show amazing was if they played longer, more stuff off twice removed and something off smeared. I hope that Sloan comes back to this area sometime soon for a concert where they get to headline like they deserve to.

All in all great show guys even if the crowd wasn't feeling you, I thought it was awesome.
